If a band is collaborating with another band, do you say feat. or w/, for instance:
The Lost w/ Broken Avenues
The Lost feat. Broken Avenues
because you dont usually get two bands collaborating, more two artists, so which looks/sounds better do you think ?
Sorry for the strange queston & waste of a thread |

"Featuring" means it's Band A roping in Band B to do something (ie. vocals, a guitar part). "With" means it's more of a collaboration, with both bands contributing writing. That's my take on it anyway. |

Sorry for the strange queston & waste of a thread If a band has someone on their album, then they are featured. If they are both either making a split single or the song is going to appear on a collaboration album, then it is with.
