Deneil potters about in the kitchen, looking rather rough as he makes a cup of tea. He's tried to sleep off a headache that just won't subside.

ooc: Totally not basing this on real life at all...

Deneil walks out into the garden with his hoodie up, shorts and barefoot while holding a cup of tea. "Alright, fam?" he says to Jayne, the only other person awake at this ungodly hour. He puts his free hand in his pocket and looks up at the night sky. It's dark and quiet with just the sound of the hot tub bubbling. It's real peaceful. Deneil loves this sort of atmosphere. He's a total night owl.

"Had a bit of a headache, needed to go pee and knew I'd be keeping Jerry awake so I just got up," Deneil takes a swig of his tea before sitting on the edge, putting his feet in the hot tub. "Had a bit of a crappy 24 hours in here if I'm being honest, fam."

"Oh I'm very considerate. I'm such a gentleman," Deneil says with a wink. He watches the apple core hurl through the air and makes a mental note to pick it up later. Last thing he wants is for Blake to complain about mess in the morning. He grunts at the mention of the man's name. "I've had enough of him to last a lifetime. Honestly, him and I haven't actually had cross words inside the house but he still makes me really uncomfortable. I try to avoid him, fam. He likes to start shit and twist everything so that he's the victim. That shit really rattles my cage."

"I sort of get why he hates me..." Deneil says in a low voice as he moves his feet in the water. "But then I see how he is with people in general and I question if he truly does hate me for what happened between me and his cousin or if he's just using that as an excuse. He just seems real bitter about something, fam."

"And, in all honesty, the guy never even bothered his arse with me until Mandy and I broke up. It's not as if we were friends and I betrayed his family, leaving him heartbroken," Deneil says, dramatically clutching his chest. "I think maybe it's because my brother beat him up once." Deneil claps his hands and laughs as he recalls the memory. "Billy kicked the shit out of him a few years ago!"

"Blake used to date Dustyn Blue, who's Billy's best friend and band mate. Blake was real shitty to him and kept saying horrible things about him after they broke up. So, naturally, Billy went around and knocked seven shades of shit out of him." Deneil laughs. He would have gladly thrown down with Blake in the past but refrained out of respect for Mandy. Now, he just thinks the man isn't worth the time of day. "He's also a Republican voter. I think B gave him a few whacks just for that alone."
