Maggie Zine: How are you holding up?

MZ: Have you read our zine before?
TB: I've never heard of it before, but I'm approachable as hell so I just thought "why not?" I'll start reading it now. You interview interesting artists
MZ: Anything new in the Read Hards camp?
TB: We're all writing songs. They don't sound good when we demo them, but we demo them regardless!
We tried to adapt to a new format and it depressed me a bit. Releasing an album is exciting. Going on tours and releasing new singlws from it. When that has become obsolete, releasing an album feels really anticlimactic. I think we've gotta find our way of doing it.
MZ: Any ideas?
TB: Maybe we'll just release the album without any promotion and release the B-sides as singles. That'd keep it fresh and exciting.
MZ: Do you tour any?
TB: We got a chance to do some tours before the album dropped. After that we've only played shows at home, very loud so anyone in town could hear them and streamed them online. It got boring fast to constantly do online shows, but I guess if we have to we have to.
MZ: Any new lyrical subjects you want to explore?
TB: Well as a band we've been looking into the character "Onan the Barbarian" again and we've wrote a song about a rooster with a BDSM fetish.
MZ: sounds exciting!
