“Flavors” (feat. Young Khalifa) [Remix] is a collaborative song by Claire Price and Young Khalifa, originally released in June 2024 as the debut single by Claire Price the track soared to number one on the singles chart, cementing Claire Price’s reputation as one of the hottest newcomers in the music industry today. The track has now been reworked by upcoming producer and recording artist ‘Young Khalifa’ in order to add a high energy aspect to the original track’s R&B/Soul vibe turning it into a Trap song with elements of Electronica and House in the process creating a club anthem.
The collaboration came about with Young Khalifa being a production and creative executive at ‘Royale Vices & Virtues INC’ as well as being a signed artist to the label, the label also being home to Claire Price meant that the opportunity to collaborate on the hit single was an easy one to facilitate with the two upcoming artists immediately hitting it off and becoming friendly during initial meetings and production sessions. It’s also been reported that ‘Young Khalifa’ was one of the driving forces in the relatively new label signing Claire Price, believing that the artist had an incredible future ahead of her as a solo artist and envisioning both the label and artist helping each other to grow together.
The original track was the breakout success for Claire Price as a solo artist, the former ‘Trinity Love’ artist had departed the group in 2021 and took some time out of the spotlight to regroup and re-focus on her own personal ambitions before announcing her return in 2023 and the official launch of her solo career in 2024 with the release of her debut solo single. The remix version of the track was written in late June 2024 following the original versions official release, with Young Khalifa adding an intro and verse to the track as well as reworking the structure of the song to fit the new House-influenced version of the track. It was produced by Young Khalifa at Sonic Lounge Studios in Atlanta, Georgia and will be released as a CD Single, Digital Download, 7” Single and made available to Weekly Airplay on August 17, 2024 via Royale Vices & Virtues INC and Studio60 Records.
Artists Comments;Quote:“Man, as soon as I heard the original version of ‘Flavors’ I just knew I had to do something with the track. I love the shit that Claire did on the original version of the single, highlighting that soulful voice of hers with that subtle hint of sensuality to the track. R&B has always been the vibe for that beautiful romantic stuff with just a hint of lust in there and she delivered it perfectly on the original. But when it came to working out an alternative version of the track, I wanted to see how that voice would land in a higher tempo track that could fill up dance floors and nightclubs around the country. Giving the track the House and Trap treatment called for a different vibe and adding my own verse into the track allowed me to really enhance the down and dirty shit that was hinted at in the undertones of the original. Claire is a generational artist that can blend into different genres and really push shit to the limits however she wants to do it, I think the original track showed who she is at her heart and this version showed that anything is possible with her talent. She a whole whirlwind of talent that has no boundaries and limitations and that is an exciting thing to witness first hand. I think she boutta dominate for a long time in this industry.”

Song Description;The track begins with an electronic dreamwave-esque sound which immediately separates this version of the song with the original as Young Khalifa’s voice comes into focus as he delivers the intro in spoken word, setting the tone as he hypes up the collaboration and the track in general,

“Oooh bet I can make you go pop pop pop your cherry (pop it!)/Before you make it go bang bang bang bang bang up the roof (bang it!)/Here the deal I can turn you out if I feel like it (turn out!)/Cause boy you be wanting some more if you like it (like it!)” and it showcases Claire’s vocal ability being able to fit into a variety of different styles and genres as the traditionally soulful sound of the original is enhanced to fit into an electronic club banger with elements of house and trap music, which only serves to differentiate between the original and the remix of the track.
Once the songs initial intro and opening hook have been delivered, the songs main structure comes into play, with re-recorded vocals from Claire Price to match the energy of the electronic dance music and trap style it’s a much faster paced song and with emphasis on different phrasing and delivery to create a much more sultry and alluring track in comparison to the original. As the energy of the beat ramps up, Claire delivers the songs original lyrics,
“There is no way that you be saying no to this /Cause baby I wanna get a piece from your body/Lemee be the one I can be your real girl that you need/Finna hold you down and be ride or die for you boy.” and as we arrive at the songs main verse we hear the music stop completely for a brief moment before crackling static can be heard and faint moans and sounds of pleasure before a powerfully energetic beat drop sounds and Claire’s vocals are heard once more amidst the energetic beat change that turns the track into a fully fledged club anthem,

“I Got That Juicy That You/Can't Denied That Feeling/You Wanna See It But/Can Look But No Touchy/Earn My Respect Before U Touch My Juicy/Got No Time For Little Boy I Need Big Boys/Don't want no fucking liar & cheaters/I need a loyal one who can do me right.” The electronic beat remains and pulsates throughout the track following Claire’s vocal delivery, the dance beat switches slightly in pace which allows for a rap verse from Young Khalifa to come into play, giving the song it’s trap element to it as it mixes the rap/hip-hop style with a dance beat as Young Khalifa delivers his vocals over the track,
