I think they are great. Living legends. They a rock sound that was very different during their time, and still is, they are one of a kind. They have influenced from jazz, blues, reggae, punk, and mixed it all together into this upbeat rock song.
I love "Roxanne". It's a great song. It has a great beat to it while sting sings really high.
"Every Breath You Take" is a beautiful love ballad. Quiet, tranquill bassline with Sting's voice being so calm and fitting.
Just another 80's song. A guitar in charge, a young voice of a singer who now is in his 50s, "De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da" is just another song by The Police, but is still remembered as a great song, because The Police can't fail.
Although "Roxanne" brought the band to the mainstream attention, "Message In a Bottle" was the band's first majour hit. It has a catchy guitar riff with Sting singing his classical falcetto, and at the chorus, he goes back down.
