Do you prefer one? What are opinions on both of them? I love both of them, Rubber Lover's a proper summer anthem and Machines from Biffy is a beautiful song. I've also seen Biffy live and their one of my favorite live bands. |

Biffy Clyro are both my brothers' favourite band. They've seen them live who knows how many times...
Though they, and myself, only really like everything up to Infinity Land.
Puzzle was something my mother enjoyed.
Flawless musicianship though. |

Flawless musicianship though. :L What do you mean musicianship? Although, I do agree Puzzle was less that up to the level that Blackened Sky was, which is one my favorite albums ever in fact. Although, I do like Machines. |

Machines is an intriguing step for me. The addition of piano was rather quaint, though simplistic and lacking other than to add another dimension to the overall soundscape for the listener.
And musicianship as in songwriting and capability as musicians. Infinity Land, Vertigo Of Bliss, and Blackened Sky all demonstrate that is so many ways.
Puzzle was kind of...2D for me. |

Puzzle was kind of...2D for me. If you compare it to the other three, yeah, but on its on it's still a decent album. Also, I feel it's got a lot of emotion in it, as it was written about his mother who died before he wrote it. I havent heard their new song, though i'm eager to. |

I am largely apathetic toward Biffy Clyro, but due to a friends Auntie being an utter Biffy nut, I do get to pretend that they are the worst band in the world just to annoy her.
Not my sort of music. |

Oh don't get me wrong, the emotion in that album is top of its class. Just, I don't feel it was an expected album from then. But then, the b-sides all followed in a similar haphazard vein that some of their older material did, which showed less of the "pop-appealing" flare that the majority of Puzzle exhibited. |

I didnt buy any of the singles but i'll take your word for it, as i bought the album instead of the singles. Anyway, I'm happy with their first three albums, they'll satisfy my Biffy needs for the majority of the time :) |
