I plan on going to Hell and partying it up with Madonna and Lewis. That or I'm gonna rot in my coffin. |

We get cremated.
:)
Naa, but seriously...
In my opinion, which I've already explained numerous times is that there is not heaven or hell or god or devil or anything that any current religeon can come up with. When we die, I think there's just this 'THING' that is. And this 'THING' either makes you happy or sad, depending if you were good or bad. Now my other point with this is I have no clue who decide's if we're good or bad (hence my argument in the 'Extremism and Patriotism' thread). And so I'm just going to live my life trying to work for the advancemant of the human race, whether it be helping an old lady across the street or coming up with a cure for cancer, as long as you make something better more than you make things worse, I can't see what else you can do. Yeah you can go pray at church's or mosques or whatever tickles your fancy, but in reality you shouldnt need a reason to be kind and good and forgiving other than it's the right thing to do. If you do it because your scared of going to hell, then you should go down to hell anyway. |

In my opinion
If you die, and you haven't accepted Jesus as your savior and ask for Jesus to forgive your sin, you go to hell.
If you have, and you ask for forgiveness, you go to heaven.
There . (___) . It's just what I believe.

When we die, our bodies rot away as we decompose into the ground. |

We just..die. There's nothing waiting for us after, our body just "stops working" and that's all. |

As Troy said, if I believed in the concept of Heaven and Hell, I'm partying the afterlife away down there with what promises to be about 80% of the likely modern world...
But, I just believe there's death, and that's that. I'm a boring theorist. |

I believe when we die we rot. We get eaten up by hordes of bacteria, and thus give back to the earth. I quite like that element of recycling.
I'm an ardent athiest, I do not believe in any after-life. We are born, we live, then we die and that's the end of it. Yes, the molecules which make up us can and will go on to make another human being down the line, but not all of them. We in the recognisable form are dead. |

Brain shutting down, in my opinion, is Heaven/Hell or whatever. It doesn't last, but it feels good while it does - a reason why near death experiences sometimes cause people to believe in God. I'm not religious, and I don't actually believe in Heaven or Hell. |

I believe there is an afterlife, but I don't think it is judged by whether or not you are good or bad, it's just like a parallel world to this one. Just like this one |

We become nothing but a skeletal figure in the ground, devoid of all shreds of humanity...just nothingness. I don't know about your spirit going on into the next life and taking up form as another new born human, a dog, cat, hippo (that would be kick ass) and so on. Sounds a little far fetched to me. |

Still don't believe it, but it's no more implausible than the Christian idea of the Afterlife |

Your life in one world informs your life in the next. |
