Well, I love movies and since the movies thread died long ago I decided to start this one :D Post the last movie you watched and your opinion on it if you want. Last one I watched was XXY last night. Fucking amazing, totally original story, I had never seen a movie about a hermaphrodite kid before. And the fact it's not American, made it even better. Edited by user 05 August 2009 03:52:44(UTC)

Twilight. Surprisingly, I didn't pick holes in it like I do with nearly all movies I see after reading the book.
Raphaela - that movie sounds good from those few words, I'll have to look for it. And yes, hermaphrodites aren't a common subject! (: |

(: I would give you the link, but the audio is in Spanish (Argentinian movie) and subtitled in Portuguese :P Mustn't be hard to find, I found it quite easily on google. |

Uhh, Coheed and Cambria's "The Fiction Will See The Real." Sorta a documentary on them. |

Last movie I saw was Alice's Kitchen, some hippie nonsense from the 60s (duh), based on the true life experiences of folk singer Arlo Guthrie (son of legend Woody), including the hilarious reason he didn't get drafted for 'Nam: he had a conviction for littering. That part of the film was amusing, the rest of it was kinda meh. |

I don't mind the odd joke about the gays, y'know, providing it's funny, and not just crude and offensive. I hate these sort of "just to see how far you can go" type films. They end up rediculous, and just aren't funny in the slightest. Also, Sacha Baron Cohen is remarkable twat. I'm done (: I don't really watch movies.. the last one i watched was Bender's Game (the last Futurama feature length). It was really good, and I'm glad they've brought it back for another season. |

Into the Wild Green Yonder was good though - quite a clever ending, leaving your options open :P |
