Lineup Changes for PANIC!

So, if you've been alive the last couple of months you would know that american rock band PANIC! are one of the top bands in the world. But the last year have been a turmoil for the young band. If you've heard any of their latest interviews, they've said many times that internal problems almost caused the band to disband, one of the most important problems was the breakup of their front people Ashley Perry and Ryan Ross Hernandez. In recent months, both live and in studio its been said by both critics and fans that Ashley Perry has been the dominate force in PANIC!, the force that makes PANIC! different from most other bands.

After reassuring fans that no members will be leaving, well, for a while they were saying the truth until now. Now don't worry none of the front faces will be leaving because honestly PANIC! would rather end the band than continue without the beloved singing duo. Leaving the band will be keytarist Victoria Whatley, this should be no shocker since truthfully the band doesn't need her anymore now that they have converted from pop/punk to alt-rock. The second member getting the boot is rhythm guitarist Anilet Lowell, she has been hanging by a thread for a while due to her constant creative differences with the rest of the band. But she hasn't left because of that, she has been let go because of a major lineup change.

Starting with their upcoming fourth studio album, Broken Down on Memory Lane on November 3rd and live beginning on the same date as well PANIC!'s lineup will look a bit different. The lineup will consist as follows:

Ashley Perry - Lead Vocals
Ryan Ross Hernandez - Lead Guitar // Lead Vocals (On select tracks)
Gabriel Hunter - Rhythm Guitar // Lead Guitar (On select tracks)
Nick Asher - Bass Guitar
Joey Fallon - Drummer
Josh Fallon - Rhythm Guitar (Touring member)

That's right you heard, well read right. The lead vocalist for PANIC! is Ashley Perry, what many people have predicted for months now. PANIC! is now a female-fronted band! Starting with their next album coming November 3rd, Ashley will be the sole lead vocalist for PANIC!, aside from a couple of songs that will have Ryan sing lead with her but in a much lesser amount than now. Live-wise, Hernandez' will still sing lead with Ashley on select tracks, most of them being older PANIC! songs. As for Hernandez, he has moved from co-lead vocalist to lead guitarist. That moves current lead guitarist Gabriel Hunter to rhythm and they welcome Josh, brother of current drummer Joey Fallon to play rhythm for the songs where Ryan sings.

Now you are probably confused out of your head, but the bottom line is this. Ashley Perry is the lead vocalist, not co-lead, lead vocalist. With the release of Broken Down on Memory Lane she will become the voice of PANIC!. Ryan Ross Hernandez isn't going anywhere just moving from center stage to the side to be lead guitarist. As far as the other members you shouldn't really care because your lying if you say your favorite member isn't Hernandez or Perry. No worries if your a fan of the band's lyrics because their will be no changes there.

This lineup change was rumored to be promoted by Ryan Ross Hernandez who said he didn't want to be in the spotlight anymore, placing it as a reason on why he fell into a heavy-state of depression in the first place.

Webshow Starting; PANIC!

In an attempt to show that they haven't changed at all since becoming famous and to open their personal doors to fans, to some extent of course. In a series of web shows all six (yes they will include their touring member), PANIC! will not only show the fans their respective hometowns but they will also speak for the first time openly about their personal lives. The series of web shows will start this Saturday, October 3rd and will continue every Saturday until the final weekend before PANIC! will release their fourth studio album. This Saturday it will highlight Ashley Perry, and the Fallon brothers will be showing around their hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. Also Ashley Perry, for the first time openly will speak about her infamous relationship with bandmate Ryan Ross Hernandez.
