Stay In The Light is the final title of the forthcoming new studio album by British band Ratner's Star. The new studio album, thier fourth as a band, is largely a move away from the darker tone of their previous record Fear of Modern Life towards what the band are calling "intellectual dance music". Using the same expanded line-up that was behind the music on ...Modern Life but with extra contributions from elsewhere, the album is at the same time highly experimental but with a danceable pulse running through much of the music.

Whereas the previous album mostly concerned geopolitics and the consequences urban decay, the new record see's lyricist Johnathan Foster Frantzen turn his gaze outwards to new themes: the secret anxieties and fears behind neatly manicured gardens and identikit houses of capitalist Western suburbia (Born Into Chaos, Ordinary People, For Once in This Lifetime...); and crises within nature and the environment, with odes to mother Earth (Gaia), the impact of globalization (A Little Country), man made disasters (Bush Fires in the Dead of Night and Sunbursts) and global warming (The Overwhelming).

The first single from the record shall be For Once in This Lifetime..., with more details to follow.

The final tracklisting is:

1 Born into Chaos (The Madness Continues)
2 Ordinary People
3 The Great Collapse
4 For Once in This Lifetime...
5 Deep Pools
6 Bush Fires in the Dead of Night
7 A Little Country
8 Gaia
9 Sunbursts
10 The Overwhelming
