Last year, Smash Up were on top of everything, untill the band decided to break up in November
Dan Severge (vocals) announced on his myspace:

'basically, we're back, and I mean, we ARE back where we left off, Oli, Luke, Jake, Ben & Me are Smash Up once again, we plan to release the Ashes Of Dawn trilogy and tour again, we except that Smash Up has been fucked about for the last 2 years, so we're sticking to this..more to come soon'

the band last September released a song called Ashes Of Dawn, they are releasing the following albums:
Ashes Of Dawn: A Fire Begins
Ashes Of Dawn: From The Enemy
Ashes Of Dawn: Pestilence.

The band have also confirmed a new name that will be announced next week, along with an album release date.


'Basically, Another Knife Scene is over, cause it wasnt working, but I got back in contact with Dan, we got the boys back togher & here we are as the new old Smash Up!'

OKAY guys, I know we said Monday we're going to give announcement but we really couldnt wait!

to put it simpley, we're really back, and to make it official we're having 3 comeback gigs under a NEW NAME!

The new name, will be Chimera, not Smash Up anymore, aswell as that, to put the new Ashes Of Dawn era, and the new name into action we've booked 3 gigs in the UK to set it off.

November 1st - Solus - Cardiff
November 2nd - Anson Rooms - Bristol
November 3rd - O2 Academy - Liverpool
