When Nimrods Frontman Jimmy Him discovered his fiance Bikki had slept with Joshy Firecracker he didn't get high.He didn't go insane, he didn't make any threats, he didn't hurt anyone. While some people might be angered by this, Jimmy did something smart for his financial status and personal well being.He followed in the steps of Laura Firecracker.Jimmy made a single under The Nimrods banner entitled "Whores and Desperates" with b-sides "Pain" and "Why wasn't it Enough". Jimmy expresses every last bit of anger and sadness he had in three songs with just an acoustic and electric guitar.These songs have a more experimental feel with layering and in the song "Whores and Desperates" Jimmy even says the whore "Whore" the entire time but it is barely audible it is also played backwards in some parts as well. While "Whores and Desperates" is very angry and relentless "Pain" is Jimmy expressing his hurt due to the situation and "Why wasn't it enough" is Jimmy asking why Bikki did what she did. The songs show Jimmy's musical and vocal abilities with WAD having tortured screams and heavy guitars while pain has no screams but rather harsh vocals and WWIE had soft croons. Musically, WAD was very heavy with no solos, Pain was also heavy with 1 solo which was emotional and WWIE had a few short soft solos on Jimmy's acoustic with a mellow chord progression. Jimmy thinks these songs turned out fine and forgives Bikki because he figured after venting there was nothing to be mad about anymore and because Bikki stayed with hm through addictions he wants to stay with her. |

Good reaction! Personally I wouldn't have the self restraint to avoid getting high and hurting people, but I already do that anyways. Kudos to you, very nice songs by the way. You just earned a shit load of respect from me for that.

That may work wonders, but personally nothing to me beats loading up on acid and getting on a trampoline, followed later by hits of whatever alcohol and other various substances are lying around.
