Rumours circulated this morning that Zach Adams the singer-songwriter frontman of Avenue's & Alleyways had split from his girlfriend of two years Sophie Burton, it is thought that Adams made the decision after Sophie's recent use of drugs, the pair have both taken drugs in the past but Sophie's drug use is reportedly becoming dangerous and it's thought that Zach Adams dosen't want any outside distractions because he's currently working on his bands debut album.
Although these are only rumours it is expected that an announcement from Adams could be made at some point in the next few days.

Hi everyone i thought i should confirm that i have indeed split from Sophie, it was a difficult decision for me to make because i obviously have feelings for her but her current situation was becoming difficult to live with.
Hopefully she'll get the help she needs and she knows that i'll help her in anyway i can, because she's still a good friend and i want to see her back on track and enjoying her life.
I don't have any plans to become involved in a relationship at the moment as preparation for our debut album is at the front of my mind.
Thanks

Zach Adams

When one partner's drug-laced it can become tough to carry on for t'other.
It's good that you're helping her, and that you're still friends.

Thanks for the kind words, your right it is tough but i never said i wasn't in love with her but in her current situation it's just became too difficult for us to be the couple we used to be, and hopefully she can get better and we can work at the relationship again.

Gemma: I hear that!! I think you're doing the best thing by still helping her out, though. Hopefully, she'll come through it and be a better person for it.

Thanks for the kind words.
Just thought i'd update you guys,
we've arranged for her to go back over to Australia were her parents will be able to take care of her and i thought it was best for her to be away from California, and it seemed like the best thing for her would be to go back home with her parents until she can get her life back on track. I'll be travelling with her to Australia and i'll stay there for a couple of days and go back to California, and i'll be visiting her as much as i can. Really hope she can get her life back on track.
Again thanks for the kind words.
-Zach Adams
