Okay, I guess most of us have been in the situation: 2 guys/girls, one you like a fair bit, will try their best to be there when you need them to be, will go out their way to see you, is sweet and open about their feelings and you're pretty sure they wouldn't do anything to hurt you. The other you also like but its hit and miss whether they'll be there when you need them to be, rarely if ever contact you and plays mind games (one min they're interested, next they barely notice you). However, when you are together there's the "spark" which makes you realise why you put up with all their crap, and they get jealous seeing you with other guys/girls and act as if you're special when you are together, etc.
Who would you choose, or who have you chosen in the past, and do you think it was the right decision? |

Seeing as I'm usually the reliability, and not the spark, I'd hope you'd be in favour of reliability. But honestly, people rarely choose that, but if they go for the 'spark', they're not generally the happiest of relationships. |

In my personal belief and experience, at least with gay men, unless there's a spark, then you're fucked romantically. Doomed to failure unless you're both into the reliable type. I get so bored in relationships though, y'see. |

Woaaahh, coincidence or WHAT. This is exactly what's happened to me at the moment, but hell I'll go for the spark I'm only 14. No point wasting your time on someone if your not going to have any fun. At least til your like 30. |

Call me old fashioned, but I'd rather have reliable. But then again, unlikely as it is to ever occur, I'm the sort of weird person that would rather have separate beds, hell, possibly even separate rooms, and then we'd be able to each have our separate lives but lived side-by-side. So, we would share meals, and go to the park, and then if we want our own space we have it. So I guess I'm living in a fucked-up dream world where girls agreed with me and were in any way interested in me. Oh, and also, our house would be built around a large tree, and our lawn would be wildflowers and every morning you'd wake up and there'd be an Elk outside nibbling on them because obviously this is happening in Canada. |
