When asked out about the meaning behind the song "Dance Club Murder Scene"
lead singer Alex Leiuso said:
"it's based on how a girl made me feel when we went out clubbing together, it was like she turned into another person and just acted like i wasn't even alive. By the end of the night i felt as if i wasn't good enough for her and should be dead, thats why the song is called 'Dance Club Murder Scene' becuase she might as well have killed me during the course of the night"

In an interview with press after a "secret" gig at the London Roundhouse, Alex and Mike gave more information on the album, new singles and a possible tour in the future.

So your latest single 'Dance Floor Murder Scene' has had an impact on the music scene, how has this made you [the band] feel?

Alex: It's great to think that people like the music we play. We haven't been a band for very long but already have quite a big fan base here in the UK and are hoping to tour USA in support for the album after we release it.
Mike: Yeah i mean we've been playing around the UK and it's great to see fans coming out, buying the CD's, some even waiting for hours before a gig to talk to us, which is an amazing part of being in the band.

Rumour has it that you've been working with Kieran Marks [The Verdict Is Vengeance + Secondhand Suicide] on the album, is this true?

Alex: Well yeah part of that is true, we have been working with him, and he is an amazing guy. But he won't be featuring on the album, not on this album at least.
Mike: Instead he has done a remix of our songs 'You've Got Three Hours Left, Why Not Waste More Time?' and 'Attention! Attention!' as part of his solo remixing project, the remix of 'You've Got Three Hours Left, Why Not Waste More Time?' is due to be released as a B side on the single for the original song, and 'Attention! Attention!' could be released as a bonus track in the future, were not one hundered percent sure yet.

So Your Planning On Releasing A New Single? Can We Have More Details On It?

Alex: It's basically going to contain three songs; You've Got Three Hours Left Why Not Waste More Time, the live version that was recorded tonight and then the Secondhand Suicide Remix.

What about the meaning behind the song? It sounds like it has a deep meaning.

Alex: Yeah it's got alot of meaning in the lyrics. It's based on a story Anthony wrote a few years ago. Basically a guy who waits and waits for a girl who is in a relationship, but it doesn't look as if it's going to end, this makes the guy start of get extremely depressed. Causing him to attempt to give himself a slow painful death, with the girl finding out and calling him as he is in the middle of this he says to her "You've Got Three Hours Left, Why Not Waste More Time with out me" After this he hangs up the phone and dies.
Mike: It isn't the happiest story ever but is great for writting lyrics about.

Finally Are You Going To Have A Tour To Support The Release Of This Single?

Alex: We're not planning any tours but we're going to play at Brixton Academy on the release date [22nd November] and are having The Reject Message supporting for this gig.
Mike: But we do have a tour being planned with The Verdict Is Vengeance in 2010 but we aren't sure if this is going to happen yet, but will give information when we get it.

Update: 09/01/2010

Wow, it's been along time since we gave you guys a proper update, it's becuase we've been so busy in the studio recording for our debut album!
We know you've all been waiting for us to give details on the album, and we haven't given any away to anyone, but things are changing during this post.
The album is going to be named 'Mistakes And Fake Heartbreaks' and will contain ten brand new songs that we have been writing and recording over the past three months. The tracklist is going to be posted in a week or so and we will release more details on each song and the release date soon.
We are also going on tour with Clear Vision around Europe from the begining of March to the end of April, this is the first time we will have ever toured outside of the UK and our second major supporting tour (the first being with The Reject Message who are now broken up)

We will post updates more often from now on.

Update: 07/04/2010

We've not updated the website for months now, that shows how little we are putting in with the band right now. I would like to announce that the band is going on a hiatus for the next few years at least. We haven't been performing as well as we would have liked to since going on tour with Clear Vision, and don't feel like its fair on them to have to play with us when we are doing terrible. This isn't us quiting for good, just taking a break from the band and going to do our own things. The album we've been writing and recording is being put on the website for free now, it might as well be classed as an EP due to it only containing 6 finished tracks. Look out for each of our new projects.

- Alex Leiuso (Lead Vocals)

Mistakes And Fake Heartbreaks [EP]
Tracklist;
1. Run
2. Ghosts With Bones
3. Miss Take
4. Break This If You Can
5. This Time
6. We Love (Demo)
