I'd put Forkboy as the Alpha Metalhead Thorgrim only listens to crappy Maiden/Pries-esque metal with a few decent bands thrown in,Forkboy listens too metal as a whole as far as I can tell.

This whole thread kinda sucks because it's obvious: Pop, Pop-rock, pop-punk, rap, rnb, dance as long as you've got a decent producer and an average voice you can make a number 1 in five minutes. Or a 18 year old political message, a fucking awesome tune and an extremely lucky bunch of buggers on facebook ;)

unfortunately, country music is becoming fairly popish. Artists like Toby Keith, Dixie Chicks, and Lonestar are all very very popular and after their first success started to incorporate some pop and/or alternative rock influences, which new country artists such as Lady Antebellum and Carrie Underwood instantly took up as well. In fact, country is becoming so overrated that they are have teen artists like Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift to be called "country artists" so they can garner attention from little children and teenagers. And those artists, too, have garnered very very wide influences ranging from dance, to rock, to even some rap.
