I'll be doing a try out and I'll see how people react to it. I may need some help with the images thing but I'll try it and see how it goes. How bout something like Le Muzik It's good but i'm having difficulty making a front cover because I'm not very good at that kind of thing. I don't have photoshop so it's difficult to cut out images to make it look realistic.

It's a bit cheapskate, but it works.

It's also free and not superb, but it beats the hell out of paying 800 notes for Adobe InDesign, and it's pretty good for making covers and page mock ups. I used both these programs to knock up this mock cover for a travel magazine, for a university project last semester, very easy to do.

Its also free, and I have used it for every album cover I have done since the game re-launched. If you want something almost as good as Photoshop, get paint, and with the free add ons that the users have made for it, its almost as good as PS.
