On a fans myspace blog Chimera have been rumord to be heading out on a US headline tour in September 2010 in support of the new album This Concept

the fan claims to have seen on a venues calender a leaked date of what could be the first USA tour for Chimera, and also claimes that he has heard talks of a possibly tour of japan later this year, this has now put the demand for tickets & tours up across the world, meanwhile, they are set to annouce a second leg of their UK tour for around July/August, with no real evidence for these people to fall back on, we contacted Chimera, They today released this statement:

'well, we announced we would be going over to Japan in 2010 in November last year, but we dont know when yet, as for the USA tour, I can neither confirm or eny a tour or dates across the pond, however we do intend to visit other countries apart from the ones we're doing in Europe this year, when we know you'll know, all we have confirmed is our May UK tour, our Summer Party tour & the Capitol Commotion tour that sold out the day after tickets went on sale, but dont forget, MARCH 22nd, ALBUM RELEASE'

we then managed to catch up with them for a few questions:

Q: Is it true you are one of the headliners of Aftermath 4!?
A:As much as we'd love to be, we're not, we are as eager as anyone else to find out who the main bands are, hopefully we can play this years festival tho.

Q: Okay so we've cleard up the UK, ASIA, EUROPE & USA, but what about our Assie & New Zeland friends?
A:As I've said before, our ambition is to go over to these countries in 2010, our schedual is hectic at the moment, we hope to fit them in with tours, aswell as other countries, and like other bands we need a fucking break in the middle of all this!

Q: Will your next tour be an Arena tour
A:I wouldnt put money on us playing any headline Arena tours in 2010, however we might get lucky for 2011, y'never know!
