The artwork for the group's debut single, Light Years.

Does anyone remember HEART, the French pop girl group discovered by pop superstar Aurora Fortin? We certainly don’t. They came onto the scene with a shiny new website (that hasn’t been updated in ages) and equipped with their own Twitter account (they haven’t tweeted since January 3rd). After releasing three singles (the highest of which charted at 29 in the US) they’ve disappeared. No details on a debut album were ever released, but on December 28th Elise David tweeted that the “album is almost done, I promise!” which leads us to believe that there is in fact an album floating around somewhere. A week later, on January 3rd, Trish Simon announced that the album artwork was finished and that it’s “fucking amazing”. They even toured with Aurora Fortin on her last world tour. What has become of these five (generally) talented girls? Although they were expected to be signed to Boy Toy Entertainment (the same label that Fortin is singed to), nothing ever happened. At the time of publication, no messages were returned that were left for each of the five members, and Aurora Fortin’s publicist directed queries regarding the group to the members themselves. Will we ever hear from the girls of HEART again?
