Arriving at the first destination on their support tour with Herr Fische, Mind were extremely nervous. They weren't sure about how the fans of Herr Fische would react to them, a scrubby metal band full of students, playing for one of the most well known bands alive. It wasn't long until they were due to go on now, just time for a quick smoke.

"Here we go, guys. Are you ready?" said Jason, puffing on his cigarette frantically. "Ready as i'll ever be, mate. Lets rock this." replied Aaron. On that note, they walked down the corridor, nodding to the members of Herr Fische along the way and they proceeding to walk on the stage. It was still being prepared, so no-one could see them yet and they had one last chance for a team talk. "Okay. On my count, we go into Usurper. Deal?" shouted Harry, barely able to hear himself above the crowd. They started to realise they probably should have planned their setlist earlier.

Circus music played them in, the band putting on black cloaks to hide themselves whilst they built up atmosphere. Once the music had hit it's peak, there came a "1, 2, 3, 4..." and they went straight into their "hit" Divine Usurper. Surprisingly enough, the fans seemed to enjoy this and as the song progressed, Mind beceame more comfortable and relaxed. The song ended on a drum solo and Jason mumbled into the microphone "Wow. Thanks for that, dudes. That was from our album, The Juggernaut. Most of our songs will be from that, so... yeah. Buy it." and they went into another song from The Juggernaut, entitled Amber is the New Red. This was less heavy than the previous song, yet more energetic. Things were starting to get heated in the crowd, even a few mosh pits emerging in places.

The song ended and without pause they went straight into a song from their debut, Free Your Mind, called Tasteless. By this point, their mascot Daniel the Evil Clown had stage dived a few times and was sustaining the atmosphere. Following him one by one, a few more evil clowns (a.k.a some of his mates) flung themselves into the crowd. The band were lapping all of it by now.

"Okay. Nice one. This next song... is both a tribute to some of our favourite bands and an upcoming song that will be on our next album. You should feel priviliged, heh..." Jason said, clutching the neck of his guitar and smiling. They suddenly started jamming slowly, until, after about a minute, they went into their new song, Tainted of Demons. Unlike most of Minds stuff, this was old fashioned art rock mixed with eastern european melodies and the band enjoyed it as a change from their usual heavier stuff. "Thanks a lot guys. That was the first time we've ever performed that." Saying this, they went into their closer, the epic 9 minute song My Fall From Grace. For this, the lighting darkened again and they put their cloaks back on for the intro. Jason was also now wielding an acoustic.

As the light slowly faded back on, they went into the song, starting off as lovely, simple progressive rock. Then, the lights darkened again for a few seconds and then came into light with a huge display of guitar work. Rather than an acoustic, Jason was playing a double necked guitar. It progressed into a heavy metal song with ferocious speed and their cloaks were taken off, revealing an almost full suit of armour (it's fake of course, that would be too heavy.)

"It's been amazing. Thank you. Now are you ready for HERR FISCHE?!" Harry shouted and the crowd roared. It came to its close, and so did Minds performance. They had been taken in by the Herr Fische fans unexpectedly and had been surprisingly well received. The circus music played out and the stage was left int total darkness.

Coming off the stage, Mind walked up to the stars of the night, Herr Fische, and said "Was that alright guys? They're ready for you either ways. Thanks for letting us on there!"
