CAYLA HOTLINE she's got you on speed dial. Well, I wasn't going to wait around too long without giving you some news, was I? I'm not a slow gal! ;) Unfortunately for some, it's not the best of news!
Let's start with The Nimrods, shall we? Not that you haven't heard this one already, it's not like Jimmy Him keeps his big gob shut about his problems. But maybe there's a little more you need to know? In case you're not up to date, a Nimrods band member nobody's ever heard of, who apparently does all the work while Jimmy takes all the credit (wouldn't surprise me), is thinking of starting his own project that's better than The Nimrods, with another band member and some Finnish randomer, neither of whom anyone has heard of. Jimmy is not amused, and is throwing a diva fit about it. That's what's leaked so far. But there's a little more to the story - apparently, they're calling in Joshy Firecracker's high-priced, low-quality and appropriately-named therapist, Dr. Mike Hunt. This guy can barely hold Joshy's face together, let alone a dysfunctional band like The Nimrods, so don't hold your breath for a miracle. In other words, here comes the split!
Speaking of bands splitting up - here's someone who has kept things a bit quieter. A band out there who plan to release a double album, have created the Jazz All-Stars supergroup, and are currently second most popular band in Delta Tau Entertainment's "Battle Of The Bands 4" - yup, I'm talking about Axiom! Life seems perfect, huh? They wish. Things haven't been so peachy in the studio lately. Tim Dunn and Mike Peck refuse to work together. The "double album" is actually two solo albums, one from Tim, one from Mike, but they're calling it an Axiom double album because of obligations to their label. After that, the band will be over and done with! Will this affect their status as "second best"? Will they be able to work together on stage? I'll be watching their next show!
And last but by no means least, as I mentioned ΔΤE, a little picture from my, ahem, "rival", Sophy Catherine Cruz-Bishop. Show her what it's like getting caught! She's been spending a lot of time with Moronic Changeling session guitarist "Little Lukey Comatose" lately. Aww, Lucas. So sweet, so innocent ....
.... or maybe not. :P SCB has been talking with her sister Bikki Hetestien about how she's so head over heels (or, by the looks of things, arse over tit) in love with Lukey. She's also been talking about how to "get rid of" Jimmy Bishop, her husband (who is also the Moronics' manager). Another split on the way - but how far would she go to get out of this marriage? Knowing our Soph, she'll stop at nothing ....
That's all for CAYLA HOTLINE this time - make sure you read next time! -CH- |
