::.Welcome to the official website of Siren's Call Soundsystem.::
Siren's Call Soundsystem is the new project of producer, writer and musician extraordinaire Aquiliz [Pronounce: Achilles], king of beats, rhymes and very good times Jazzy Beat and the lovely, Angelic wordsmith Morrigan. Together the trio has sold millions of records world wide as producers, composers, writers and performing artists. Siren's Call Soundsystem is a new, coherent and on-going project that seeks to change and redefine an industry that has taken a turn for the worst, seemingly only caring about creating controversy and mindless, assembly line-produced opiates for the masses.

SCS goes for multi-layered, complex music that transcends and reinvents genres. Seductive and mezmerizing, SCS strives to be the vanguard party around which the industry and music will be reformed.

The revolution will not be televized. It will blast through your stereo.

Hey folks. Looking for musicians and vocalists to jam with and perhaps record some tracks. Sharing the same philosophy is a must.

Also, if you're a new act that needs a place to record (along with experienced producers/composers to help you out), and you're close to Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Hit us up. We got an entire building filled to the roof with recording equipment and instruments.

Peace and love,

That would be awesome. We, Jazzy and I, loved working with you guys in the past. It would be magnificent to do so again!
Also, don't know if you guys got an opening act yet, or someone to do the possible after-party. But if you're in need of someone, hit us up. We got some time on our hands.

Peace,

Hi folks!

The lovely Remco van de Wael did a wonderful review of our recent performance at the Vera. It was so much fun! I really, really, really want to perform with a live band backing us more often.

Anywaaaay! Big news and a big question! First of all, Jazzy just called me this morning with some lovely, wonderfully fantastic news. His wife is pregnant! Three hurrah's for J.B. and the misses! While you're still dazzled by that big news announcement, prepare to be blown away for the following:

We've been booked for Lowlands Festival 2010! We'll play the 20th of August (that's the Friday), so if you're camping your tent at Biddinghuizen to enjoy all those wonderful musicians and to experience that great fun festival, come take a look at our set.

Also, to end this little update of mine: We're looking for a label to help us co-ordinate the Europe-wide release of our future/upcoming/planned album. We don't need studio-time, since we got our own and we require absolute creative freedom. No censorship for the Siren! The thing is that we could do a digital distribution ourselves, but being the audiophiles we are, we recognized the need for a 'hard copy' release. We lack the connections and infrastructure to do so.

So... There you have it folks. I'm all out of news and I'm off to enjoy this lovely, lovely day.

Love & kisses,

Morrigan
