post your opinions on the cancellation. Personally, I think they did the right thing on their part of the investment. The show pretty much died out in popularity without the original cast. Although, I liked what was occuring in the storyline, it would've probably have just eventually gotten stale, boring, and people would've realized that it's truly nothing more than a spinoff.

I actually liked the new take on the show. I liked the new characters, I liked the way they used to old characters, and I thought the show had some potential. It was definitely better than seasons 6 and especially 7 in my opinion. Also ABC hadn't officially canceled the show last I checked so there is still a slight possibility they give it a few more episodes if they don't find a pilot they like to take its place.

The original ending was great. Everything that followed was weak.

It should have ended once season 8 had finished because that was final episode was really one of my personal favourite episodes. The part when Dr. Cox final said "For the record, he was the best that ever came through this dump. John Dorian was the first and only doctor I ever met who cared as much as I do. And you can forget about him being just an exceptional physician because the fact of the matter is...he's a damn exceptional person. That's why people gravitated to him. That's why I did. He was my friend." -- I loved that moment.

And the ending scene when he kinda saw into the future/what he wanted the future to be. Amazing scene.

If the show had of ended then, particularly for Zach Braff's character it would have been more memorable over the years but now we know that he came back for like 6 episodes.
I think thats why the Friends final episode has become so memorable.

Anyway had they have called the new Scrubs something like Interns and if they didn't bring JD back then it could have worked for me. but sadly it didn't.

On a plus though because Scrubs looks like it's over it means that Zach Braff can start making more movies and I believe there's a movie called The High Cost Of Living which as been finished so that's a good thing.

Wait...

The High Cost of Living?!

As in... based on The Sandman-spin off featuring Death from the Endless?

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? BECAUSE IF YOU ARE, I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND CRY. CRY LIKE A LITTLE GIRL. I'LL CRY ALL OVER YOU. YOU DON'T WANT THAT, NOW WILL YOU?!?!

I won't. But I will cry. All alone, in the corner.

I don't know, all i know is:

It's set in montreal
Written by Deborah Chow (Whoever that it)
and it's apparently about a guy (Zach Braff) who runs over a pregnant woman.

I don't know much more than that.

If this is true, I'm apathetic.

Nothing special and hardly amusing.

I haven't seen further than Season 3, so I'm in the dark about later plot developments so this really doesn't concern me so much.

Turk and Dr.Cox only worked well as characters when they had the other cast (JD, Elliot, Carla, Jordan, etc.) to play off of. I'm glad they're finally putting the show out of it's misery, last 2 seasons sucked.

Well, as I stated, I loved how they made a newer, younger scrubs, but it was just not as great to live up to the name of Scrubs. The original ending before the whole WGA strike had occured was actually a good ending, because it made people want more, and it truly left some questions unanswered, but they were good ones, that would've made the eventually scrubs legacy infamous for all the good reasons, and season 8 was a great answer to those questions, but season 9 was just a total shit on 8 seasons-worth of episodes. Season 9 was by far too weak to carry on scrubs, but I did enjoy it, and honestly, it would've probably been more successful if season 9 were to have been an official spin-off cuz season 8 had like 5 million viewers in comparison to the larger number of past seasons before it, so season 9 was bound for terrible collection of viewers. But if season 9 were its own show, it would've had a fresh, clean start and a totally out of the messes that scrub's decline faced, and plus Lawrence could've written for promotion of the should-have-been new show by simply stating "from the creators of scrubs" because although people didn't watch scrubs as often anymore, it was still very popular name and had been a huge tv show that would've been remembered by the masses watching the could-have-been advertisement.
