Welcome to IPM.com, the home of InterPlanteryMusic!!

IPM is a new project which we hope to get off the ground this coming summer! It will officially launch next month, on the 21st May 2010!!!

IPM will be a music group, which will exist to bring the very elite in music to the ears of the listening audience worldwide!

The company will exist with (at the beginning) three subsidiary companies: as follows

1. SaturnzRingz Records - Having produced, recorded and released the last four Blood Of Wecz albums independantly, Ryan Lee and Scott H have decided to set up their own record label, in a bid to help other, and also still do what they love, in releasing their own records! SaturnzRingz will seek to sign only the elite in the music world (both new and established, but new acts have to have serious/serious/serious potential), and will ensure that their albums and singles will have the most prestigious releases and PR known to man!

(Applications for SaturnzRingz are currently open. If you would like your band to be considered, then please email the owners (OOC: PM me, do not post an application here) and tell us why you should be considered, a bit of a bio, what you are going to do worldwide in the future. If you apply, you will not hear back until after May 10th, when all applications will be considered!)

2. GiantJupiter Promotions - Owned by Hugh Marvin, formerly of GMG management, GJ will take control of all festivals currently held by GMG, including Coverfield and one half of Manifest. They will also promote world tours for the biggest bands on the planet, in order to give it the IPM seal of approval, guaranteeing top quality music!

3. The PlutoPrize for excellence - very different to other music awards ceremonies, the PlutioPrize will be a single award which will be given out yearly. In order to qualify for the award, a band must have released three albums or less. The award is designed to showcase young acts and promote excellence in the art of writing outstanding music. The prize that is given to the recipient of the PlutoPrize is an as of yet unconfirmed cash amount, as well as the opportunity to work with SaturnzRingz Records (should the winner wish to). (ooc: This is very much like TRSG version of the Mercury Music Prize, google it if you dont know)

(As we hope to get the PlutoPrize going in June, I need five judges ASAP, these judges should be properly qualified, as in, have a lot of experience in the industry etc, and should be well respected, if you would like to be a judge then again, email IPM (ooc: again PM me, DO NOT POST APPLICATIONS HERE) Applicants to be judges will be notified of whether or not they are successful in two weeks time.
