Biography
Ryan James was born on November 8, 1992, in Dallas, Texas to Karen and Paul James. His father, was an ordained minister at an Assemblies of God church. His mother, was an english and religion teacher. He was raised in Newark, New Jersey with his 3 brothers Aaron, Lewis and Paul Jnr. At the age of six, his father realised that he had vocal talent whilst singing christmas carols with his family. When he was 7, his father bought him a drum kit for christmas and he immedietly showed talent on the drums. He started taking lessons. When he was 11 his parents bought him an acoustic guitar and he started writing songs at the age of 12. When he was 13 he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. When he was fifteen he and his brothers dropped out of high school to be homeschooled by their parents.
