I think people were expecting the same RADIO pop sound I carried on Diary of a Pop sinner. But as I said. This is a new direction/sound I'm going on. I've always been very artistic about my music and people who fail to realized that, you're in for a rude awakening. The toughest part about the industry is change. People are afraid of change. Some artist do it simply because they want more green or because they want more hits. But what people don't understand is that I'm doing the complete opposite! NO, BUT I AM AN ATTENTION WHORE! I'm at a point in my career where I could care less if I get another number one hit. I could care less if you think I have no talent. I could care less if you think I suck. I have sold nearly 80 million records and I have countless hits. But what I do care is about my music and music in general. I put a lot of effort in to this song. I think the song has depth and it will definitely make you think. This was also the toughest and the most emotional song I had to do, because It's hard to not hold back on things.
