I listened to this song a few days ago. It's middle of the road for my tastes. I am a longtime STP fan, I own all of their albums and the new one will be an automatic purchase for me. My initial observation regarding this particular track is that it has a Bob Dylan meets The Beatles vibe to it, with a hint of the Go-Go's thrown in as well. Perhaps a throwback to the Tiny Music era? I'm hoping that the rest of the album is closer in style to Purple and No. 4, my favorite STP albums.

I kinda thought it sounded like a mix between Andrew WK and The Vines, which although mixed together, you could expect a disaster, but I wouldn't say that for this occasion. Obviously, the new album won't be as good as Songs From A Vatican Gift Shop or Core, but it does sound good for a late grunge bloomer into plain alternative rock.
