Legion of the Undead has just released their US lead single "Angel Eyes". The band who has been touring for the past month has taken a small break in their touring schedule to finish recording their new album of the same name.
"We decided to release Angel Eyes as the single because of the insight to the new Legion of the Undead. It's a very well written ballad and we all feel that it is a nice preview to the new album. I think people are expecting us to put out another thrash metal album. It's still heavy but it is not thrash (laughs)." -Lord Hammerspawn
The band is flying out to Los Angeles this week to film two new videos for the album, one for the single. The new album, slated for release early this month, will be Legion of the Undead's biggest effort yet.
"The new album is on a whole new level. We can't wait to play the new songs live. Every song is solid. There is no filler. The choruses are very memorable and great to sing along to. It's like nothing we have ever done." -Lord Hammerspawn
The band is also planning on abandoning their aliases for their real names via their website. The band has used these aliases for a number of years and, according to the band, it will be a nice change. Be sure to listen to Legion of the Undead's new single, "Angel Eyes"!!
