I love that scottish mentality. same with Andy Murray, people in England are like "He's gonna win wimbledon", people in scotland "Andy who?". |

In reality, Engurland are in real shit now. They play Slovenia on Wednesday, and if the Slovenians have any sense at all, they will play for a draw, exactly as the Swiss did against Spain. If they pull it off, its a straight shoot out between the US and Algeria to see who goes through, and England will come home to huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge criticism. |

We need someone with balls AND tactical sense, whilst Capello may be good managing Real Madrid, England just don't play like that and I don't think he understands the English mentality very well. |

I think England miss Owen Hargreaves more than we think. If you remember the Portugal Quarter-Final in 2006 he was our best player and showed so much passion to win. |

This cup is quite surprising. To start off, why is there so many African teams? Why not, of course, but is African soccer really that good? |

i'd say so looking at how the scores are turning out...
how many english clubs actually play 4-4-2... and why are we playing it? im sick of the same formation all the time and then attempting to shove players into slots they are not used to.... 4-5-1 with a roving midfielder would be very nice to see.... then we could own the midfield and control the game while still being able to push up towards goal. |

That's all we do there. Good luck getting UEFA to give up one or two of their spots. South America only has 9 or 10 countries and it sends 5 teams, so I'd start with them? Africa? 6 teams from 53 nations is hardly allowed compared to Europe's 13 from 53. Asia 4 from 46. CONCACAF sends 3 from 10. I'd be looking to downsize the CONEMBOL contingent and up the Asians by one. Probably. Otherwise it is pretty fair. More European teams go to the World Cup because those are the teams that make the money, like it or not. |

I agreed with the fans, the amount of money some of those fans spent to go see England play and to have England play the way they did was terrible. Had the comment have been from Ashley Cole or someone like that then it wouldn't have been as big a deal because Ashley Cole's a dick anyway but the fact that it was Rooney who said it made it a bad thing. Had Rooney have been just a normal fan in the crowd he'd have booed too. |

If they were true fans they wouldn't have booed them off, I reckon if they were true supporters they'll still be behind England, besides, if we draw the next game and USA lose, we still go through.
