I think it was kind of obvious they were doing shit when it got to 80 minutes and it was 0-0 against Algeria. Eh, it's not quite that simple. I think booing your team at the end of an abysmal performance against a side that they should have beaten is pretty reasonable. So long as it only occurs at the final whistle, while the game is going on you should be shouting and screaming positive words. I tend to think that mostly booing is counter-productive, but when you have shown absolutely no bite, no fire, then maybe knowing how fucked off the supporters are at your pathetic attempts will gee you up. Not that professionals should really need motivation from drunken louts but hey, that's football. |

I feel bad for North Korea, they're gonna get shot. The girls in my classes (wee watch WC at school) ruin Portuguese games because they don't stop talking about how sexy they think Cristiano Ronaldo and don't realize he's a diving asshole even though he's a decent player. |
