ElectroDeath was formed five year ago in South America, Brazil, but the band is not formed by Brazilian singers. Magie which is the leader of the band met Lilly and Yulia in a conquest of new talents outside Brazil, Lilly was an X factor contestant and Yulia featured a conquest in Russia for another girl band, instead Magie felt that they were exactly the type of singer she was looking for to form the band. A Brazilian Record Label signed a contract with the band to release their first album, this album was recorded in Portuguese and released only on South America, in that time the band was called “Eternal” and their style was rock, heavy rock, the album did a moderate success selling over 400.000 of copies with four singles released, but the girls wasn’t happy with the result of their work with their ‘till that time, currently record label, the label wanted them to continues with their heavy sound, but the girls wanted to move to something more acceptable, like electronic music, so they decided to travel to Los Angeles to work in a album independently, they still got the contract with the Brazilian record label, and when one of their “new” songs got ready, they send the song to the label. The song was very well received by the managers of the label and a EP entitled “From The Ashes was released, the EP made a huge success for a beginning band, selling almost 1 million copies, the Brazilian record label than decided to invest for the first time in a international release and the girls was choose to do so. With the name changed to “ElectroDeath”, new looks, and a more electro pop sound, the first international album was released, and 2,5 millions of copies were sold, three platinum singles released and a high arena tour around the world is currently going on…

MTV Host: Nice performance girls, this was your first single, right! First I wanna know. How are you girls leading with the smash Media above you?
Magie: Well, it’s being really crazy, I mean we never though the album would sold so much, and the singles would reach the charts, we did music videos, in general it’s all new to us, nowadays I just can’t get to supermarket without a fan or paparazzi around me, and one year ago no one recognize me on streets, so “suddenly famous”, it’s the right expression!
MTV: You girls, started in Brazil, but you weren’t born there?
Magie: Actually I am Brazilian, Yulia is Russian and Lilly is English from London, hehe, it’s quite a mixing!
Yulia: Magie was about to start a girl band, and I was in a talent show. That was where all started.
MTV: Cool, now, Lilly I know you’re gonna sing a song for us right now, and I have to say, as a man, this song makes me feel a bastard…

MTV: yeah... You say things in this music to hurt man’s virility, but I also know that this single is the most successful single you guys released, and it’s Platinum status with sales over 1, 3 millions...
Lilly: This song is kind controversy, but it’s an enjoyable song, I mean, it’s laughing and funny and selfish, but in a joke way...

MTV: Back with Electrodeath… so recently a news featured on “Sound Magazine”, telling about a new album coming from you was revealed, and you guys confirmed in your official website, can you tell us about this new album.
Magie: Well I don’t realy like to call it as a new album, I mean it’s almost a compilation but with five new songs, actually tow of these five new songs, are b-sides released with our previous singles, but it will feature three new songs and one of them was choose to release as a single to upcoming months..
MTV: It’s like a continuation from “Do Not Regret”…
Magie: yes…
Yulia: We wrote seventeen songs when we were producing “Do Not Regret” and always were in our label’s plan to release two albums, but with the success of “Do Not Regret” we won’t be able to produce a brand new album in a short time like our contract asks, than with these unfinished songs, we decided to “reload” the album, with some cool remixes and some new songs.. I think our fans will love it…
Lilly: We invite some of the most requested DJs of the moment to produce remixes from our singles, and the album will feature two songs in Russian, signed by Yulia. We produced these Russian spelling songs together with the original version, to reach the Russian market, once Yulia is Russian, but we didn’t use them, once the English songs breakthrough mainstream.
MTV: Nice, do you can reveal the name of the album, or the new single?
Magie: The new single is a mystery, hehe…
Yulia: it will be release soon, and we’re going to start to sing these new songs on our “Loves Me Not Tour”, so our fans will be able to hear them before the release of the single or the album, and the album has a particular name “Do Not Regret – Reloaded” hehehe.
MTV: cool, about the tour, you guys have a tight schedule for the rest of the year and the beginning of the next year, and performances on festivals, too, how it’s being, singing in large arenas, and high anticipated festivals?
Lilly: The tour was something uninspected, we did not plan the tour and we were producing the album, but the request of the album was so high, that people start to request us, for festivals and concert houses, it was inevitable, we made a set list, a high tech stage, some clothes changing and the “Loves Me Not Tour” was ready to reach the roads, we did a circuit around Europe and very soon we’ll reach North America, but we have plans to visit South America, Asia and Oceania.
MTV: A lot of work then… You said you don’t have plans to produce a brand new album right now, but you guys will produce soon after tour a new album? Or are you planning to rest, after that?
Magie: Well, of course we’re gonna take a little while to rest, not only to rest but to get inspiration for new songs, but before to release the album we’re gonna need a contract with a label, we’re gonna quit our label after finishing our currently contract , we don’t have anything against them, but with the success ElectroDeath is making we’re gonna need more promotion and organization staff, and a bigger label will give us this support, we already have some proposes, but we need to take a break to think, probably after the promotion of these albums, we’re gonna take some reunion, to talk about this.
MTV: Any label will like to have ElectroDeath in its cast? Hehhehe, so girls before you go, sing another one to us?
Lilly: Sure, we’re gonna perform one of the songs that will be featured in this new “album”, “Loves Me Not”.
