I did a 2010 update for that weird about us thread and it appears a lot change over a couple of months so I though why not do a 2010 version of this thing I did a while back.

Book - probably still Nineteen Eighty-Four. Really haven't read enough books to be a good judge though. Tolkien put me off reading pretty much for life (so far at least).

Book - Ugh, so much to choose from. Fiction, still probably Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse. Non-fiction is much harder as I read more non-fiction. Robert Service's biography of Lenin is probably the best of his biographies of the 3 big names of the early USSR. Homage To Catalonia by George Orwell is a delightful read on the Spanish Civil War. Heinz Guderians autobiography, mainly about his work as a tank warfare theorist and then a Wehrmacht general was great.
City - As I said last year, I'm a fucker for loving wee villages and just countryside more than cities, despite their inherent convenience.

Damn fine book that, finally read that a few months ago.

Also have no idea how someone can hate TV shows. I mean TV itself is an awful device, and sure 95% of the things on telly are fucking trash, but that 5% make the rest worth enduring. And by enduring I mean completely avoiding and just torrenting or buying DVDs of the good shows.
