Sasha has finished recording her second studio album and now she is ready forthe world to hear it. On Monday July 12, 2010. Sasha will release her sophmore album, Flying Free. The album will be Sasha's first album with The Junction Records. The album was written by Sasha and Alicia Lena.

Sasha:This alblum is something so personal to me. Its dear to my heart, simply because it is about raw emotion and past expeirences. On this album I didn't wanna seem like a sexed up dolled up pop artist who has another album out. I just wanted it to be about the music and what it is saying to the listeners and the audience. And that's why my name isn't on the front of the cover because even the album is not for me, its for my audience. And the sylmbol on my back is Cantonese and it means raw, and that reflects how the album is because its very emotional.

Hmm. Interesting. If you don't want it to sound 'sexed up', how come all the titles sound like love/men-related songs?

I think if you listen to this album you'll hear a very different sound from Sasha. I actually co-wrote the album with Sasha and it was a great album to work on, just because the song title's mention love/men it's not a predominintly sexual album. It's more about finding yourself and if you listen to the lyrics you'll realise that it's not about sex it's about love. I know that some people will instantly write off this album but at least give it a chance, your aloud to not like the album, that's fine but don't judge it until you've heard it.

Sasha: Love isn't all about sex. Love is from the heart. A man or woman could indicate, show, or embrace love by sex. But a the climax of intercourse doesn't at all match up to the amount of love that's in the heart. And the track I believe your talking about "I Love That Man" is about what ever kind of love that that man is giving me, I am making sure I reinforce that love to him back 100%. That doesn't make me a "sexed up" singer, it just me talking about love from the heart. Not sexually as you so elegantly put it. So basically what I am trying to say is love isn't 100% about sex.
