Only Metal Allowed Magazine #34 - David Hoster's New Album Review


"To Hell and Back" is a Good Work. David Hoster Demostrates that He's one of the best metal singers on these days. His Solo Works are as good as Hellspawn's, and Sometimes better. His Voice is Very Good and To hear a Song with these voice is a Pleasure. Well, the album isn't better than "Darkness From Above" but it's His Heaviest Album Up to Now.

1. Fastbender (5/5) || The Best song of the album, and one of the David's Best Songs. Very Fast, Very Heavy, This song has a Lot of Power!

2. Black Wings (3.5/5) || A Mid-Tempo Thrash Song, Very Similiar to the sound of Megadeth's "Countdown To Extinction" Album. Good!

3. To Hell And Back (4/5) || Another Very Good Song, It has Very fast Parts & Mid-Tempo Parts. This Song is one of the Bests of the Album.

4. Domitius Caesar Legatos Xti Violenter Interfecit (3/5) || A Very Strange Name (If you take the Initials: DCLXVI, It's a Roman Number, is 666) for a Good Song. Very Dark, the Darkest Song in the Album, With Some Guttural Chorous.

5. Hidden Eyes (4/5) || A Very Calm and Heavy Song. it Starts with a Very Good Speaking Intro and Then The Guitar Riffs Break Your Ass. Very Good Song!

6. Chapter DCLXVI (3/5) || Another time the Same Letters From Track 4, it's the Second Part of that Track but it's very Different. The Speedest Song in the Album, a 300% Teutonic Speed Metal Song. I Like Speed!

7. The Abyss Of Death (2/5) || The Worst Song in the Album, It isn't Too Bad but it's Not a Song for the album.

8. Unseen Beasts From Hell (3.5/5) || Back To The Bruthal Metal. It's A Song That Breaks your Head into a Hundred Pieces. Very Fast, Very Heavy, Very Hellish!

9. Falling Shadows (4/5) || A Slow Song. It's very Good, Here the voice of David is Louder thant The Other Instruments. With a Very Commercial Chorous that Enters to Your Head and You can't Take It Out.

10. The Last Prophet (4.5/5) || The Largest Song of the Album, It Starts Slow, but then All Hell Breaks Loose, and it Ends in a Very Fast & Heavy Song.
