DeathHammer Magazine:
"Remains" is over 40 Minutes of True Thrash Metal. This Album is a Good Thrash Album. "Remains" is Similar To "Last Rites"but It has a Fresh Air that Their Another Albums Didn't Have. "TEOD" Was a Good Heavy Metal Album, But Hellspawn's Best Songs are The Thrash Ones. The Best Songs are "Destroyer" (a 4 Minutes Full-Of-Speed Song), "Hateful Disease" (If it isn't Thrash, what's Thrash?), "Demons In Hiding" (Has a Lot of Guitar Riffs of Melodies and the Drums Sounds like a Thousand Blasts) & "Path Of Blood" (With Some Guttural Voices, and Guitar Riffs Like The Dimebag Darrell's).

Note - 8 out of 10

Metalworld Magazine:
Hellspawn "Remains"? This Band's Still on the Scene? WTF? Well this Thrash Metal Band from The UK has Released Seven Studio Albums, and Probably This is the Best. But, It's Not an Excellent Album, It's Thrash, Nothing New. It can be "Last Rites Part 2" and I Think They Returned To True Thrash Metal To Conquest the Fans they Have Lost.

Note - 3 out of 5
