Background Dolls were formed early 1990's, with Adam, Jamie and Daniel all brothers. The three formed a band when Daniel, the oldest, was just 12 years old, in Glasgow, Scotland. The trio then left home at 16 for England. They arrived in London, and begun busking to pay for the flat they rented out from their uncle. Two years later, and the uncle died. They had been very close to their uncle, and he left them the flat's in his will. They earnt enough money to get some studio time and recorded a rough Indie rock album. However after this, the trio decided to become succsessful they would have to create something much different. And so, they crafted a genre called 'Revolution Rock'. The genre, named after 'The Clash's' hit, is a mixture of political punk, Babyshambles-esque indie rock/post-punk and folk, with elements of Ska and Reggae. The genre at first was a struggle to get the correct balance, but after a while they forged an imaginitive and diverse sound, and it worked. Adam's distinctive agressive, harsh vocals sung deep, meaningful, angsty lyrics over exciting reggae beats. On other song's they would play acoustic guitar songs, with Adam's more calmer vocals coming out. This blend of genre's has caught much attention, and their fan base continues to grow with their energetic live performances.
