In August of 2010, Malory Evans successful music review, burlesque dancer, socialite, rich girl and attempted singer opened up a record label called Shooting Star Records in hopes of launching the careers of of whoever signs with her. She looks to sign artists who have potential and are ready for their lives to change drastically in just a few months! She believes that her label is real deal and has put more than a million dollars investing in just the record label itself! The label has its own state of the art studio's based in New York City, Camden of The United Kingdom and other smaller studios around the U.S and U.K. The musical genre does not matter to Malory and she is open to anyone who is interested in her label. However, artists who aren't in it to win and aren't hard workers will not be signed. Malory is all about growth and no one is perfect and she has no problems signing, up and coming artists. NEW SIGNEE - JENNY HUDSON
Shooting Star Records are happy to announce the signing of female Pop, Country, Pop-Rock and Alt artist, Jenny Hudson to a two album deal indefinitely. Jenny has been on tour with the 4th Street Band providing them with her talents playing the piano, guitar, some backing vocals and occasional lead vocals but now its time for her to stand in front and on her own two feet and do solo work with Shooting Star Records. Stacey: You know what, I had high hopes for this album by Brittany Knox as did many people and I've gotta say I was pretty disappointed, It's not what I was expecting and I'm pretty unbiased, I'd even go as far as saying I was a fan of Leather Love, that was my kind of song but the album as a whole was a pretty big disapointment. Sally Stevenson on the other hand has created a beautifully crafted album, I think Brittany should take notes from Sally because she knows how to make great music. Well done Sally. Michelle - I went out and bought Brit's album. I wouldnt exactly compare Sally and Brit because they are so different and I wont call Brittany album a huge disappointment because she does actually have a good voice and the music wasnt bad, but what upset me was the album had so much potential to be a great album, but the songs are so generic. You have so much hype and your pattering yourself out to be the next "Generic Princess". You cause lots of controversy, and its good but not all controversy is good controversy |
