Anyway, the last week or so has been pretty reasonable for my team, Dunfermline Athletic. We are just two points off the top of Division One, looking to leapfrog our near rivals Raith Rovers to win promotion to the Scottish Premier League. The highlight of the past few weeks was our visit to bitter, bitter rivals Falkirk. It was heavily snowing all day, the traffic was a bitch getting to Falkirk, and it was bloody freezing in the stadium. But we beat the dirty scummy bastards 2 - 1 and essentially booted the cunts out of the race for the title.

When you add in fans fighting with the police, stewrds, each other, and breaking seats, it was an eventful day overall (I dont agree with the violence myself personally.) and a storming niught in the pub after!

On the continental front, I cant see anyone ousting Barca on the way to the Champions League Final now. An Italian team is probably the only one with even an outside chance of doing it, but I think it needs exactly what beat them last year, a combination of an Italian side, and Mourinho. Real, even with Mourinho wont come close to them (supposing Real beat Spurs), and I can see them winning it rather easily.

These are the words of a man who has not seen Raith play lately, I can tell. Up to about the end of January, I'd have agreed with you wholeheartedly, we were rank bad and Raith were grinding out results.
However, whenever we have an away game that's just too far like in Dingwall or Dumfries, for example, I make the short trip to Kirkcaldy to watch our title challengers, and they are absolutely murder at the moment. They should have drawn with Stirling Albion (which we actually did) and sneaked a win, and they should have been beaten by Cowdenbeath, but still managed to sneak a win.
They have however lost to Partick and been pummelled by Morton since, and I also saw them being literally abused by Dundee a few weeks back. This weekend v Falkirk is a big test for them, but on recent form they will lose.

The league title now will come down to Dunfermline's end to the season. If we win all the games we are expected to, then we will win the league, as Raith will absolutely drop points. We are our own worst enemy though, and the chances of us screwing up are probably pretty high.

My score predictions for the next 4 games has us 2 points ahead of Raith going into the derby on April the 26th. We can essentially (hopefully) wrap it up that day.

I used to play Football as much as I possibly could from the ages of 12-16. I used to play for the secondary school team. I used to play left back or defensive midfield whenever we'd have games but I was a pretty good all rounder, I was even pretty solid as a goalkeeper. But I did generally prefer a more defensive role, I liked to get "stuck in.", kinda moulded myself on Gattuso from Milan but I wasn't just a grafter, I also had some attacking qualities to offer.
And I guess my biggest asset was my pace, I think I was the only person in school who actually enjoyed doing cross country running. Anyway, These days I don't really have time to play football and everyone I used to play football with seemingly stopped playing football.
I've thought about joining a local sunday league side, I go to the gym that has a sunday league team and I'll probably consider it around June-July.

I love Gattuso! I used to be a goalkeeper til I realized that I'm too short to play it now. I think my greatest weapon is my ball control/ground passing and I'm also and excellent free-kicker (I can knuckle and curve the ball). I'm also kind of heavy so I'm not easily knocked off the ball so with my control I can maintain possession pretty well. For my size I also have really good pace (100 meters in 15 seconds). I wanted to model my playing after Pirlo (my favorite player) but I'm more of a Rooney when it comes to my size and power and Zidane when it comes to my actual style.

Well I guess in that theory, I should want Tottenham to lose. I'm technically a West Ham fan, although the word fan is very debatable, I'm not an obsessive and I want Spurs to win.

I've already had like 6 beers, and I tend to get very emotional when my teams are playing. It's gonna be a rollercoaster 90!!!

Currently watch the Milan game and definitely startled a few neighbors when I screamed as soon as Pirlo's substitution was announced.
