What a crud year for County, only just missing relegation playoffs. But Colin McMenamin is signed up for the new year, which is an improvement on our guff forwards.

I think they just underperformed for huge chunks of the season, and probably suffered from Calderwood's gung-ho tactics

We suffered because Derek Adams was pish in the league until he left in November to be the Hibees assistant, & we replaced him with Willie McStay who didn't have a clue. Calderwood steadied the ship & saw a decent up-turn in fortunes for a team who struggled for men who knew where the goal was. Only complaint I have about him really is that he doesn't like Scott Morrison (chased him out of Aberdeen when there) & refused to pick him despite being our best leftback
