I've tried Entourage before and I've liked it but it didn't send me the "Coming Back for More" signals that shows like Eastbound and Down and Six Feet Under did. I'll probably get more into it.

Eastbound is great! Haven't seen Six Feet but heard great things. You should try watching season 1 of entourage. It will get you hooked,

I think Entourage is too far from Deadwood's genre to compare it(from what I've seen). If you want some good drama Television drama try Rubicon or other shows that air on AMC.
