STUDIO60 RECORDS CAN CONFIRM THE SIGNING OF ...
SARA DANIELS

UserPostedImage

Sara Daniels was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin and began singing when she was only 8 years old! Her mother used to always hear her singing non stop throughout the day and immediately put her in vocal lessons, 5 years later she was a full fledged singer, singing at school dances and talent shows. We cannot forget her striking dance moves that gave her the self proclaimed "School Superstar" and went on to being names "Most likely to become a Superstar" in her school year book. Once she heard about an opportunity to appear on All Around The World, she quickly signed up. In all the judges eye's she had potential to be a huge star and went on to become a finalist in the top 3 against Miles In Minutes and eventual winner, Book of Love. Losing the competition didn't hold Sara back as she is now introducing herself into the music industry as an artist.
She has signed a two album contract with Studio60Records.

STUDIO 60 RECORDS CAN CONFIRM THE ADDITION OF ANOTHER FUTURE SUPERSTAR...
KATIE COYLE

UserPostedImage

Katie Coyle is an 18 year old singer songwriter who is new on the block. Katie plays guitar and sings melodic songs with real emotion, and power, and has a new, bright and airy aura.

Born in June 1992, in Cleveland Ohio, to Irish parents, Katie has grown up around music, and musicians. In 1994, at the age of 2, Katie's parents moved from Cleveland to their native Dublin, Ireland, and lived for a while with Katie's uncle, musician and author Donald Williams. Katie said of her uncle, "Uncle Donald basically taught me all that I know. I grew up watching him play guitar in pubs around Dublin, and later, London, and he taught me how to play from around the age of 5."

At the age of only 9, the Coyle family would be on the move again, as Katie's father got a job as a banker in the city. Moving to London was a traumatic experience at first for the young lady, who had to quickly adapt to big city life. "It was really strange. All I really knew was the big, quiet house my uncle lived in in Dublin, and here we were in a little flat in the centre of London...I knew no one, or nothing, and it was like I always felt I'd get trampled on."

Since high school, Katie has been a keen performer in London, and has recently begun playing open mic nights in London bars (since she is finally old enough to get in). It was at one of these nights that she was to get a break that she had always hoped for. Producer Simon Frances saw Katie playing at the Black Bear bar in East London, and asked her to come to the studio, where they created an (as of yet unreleased) demo. Frances now acts as Katie's manager, as she attempts to find her feet in an industry that is waiting to chew her up and spit her out.

Pete Brooks
UserPostedImage
Who Is Pete Brooks?

Pete Brooks is relatively unknown despite working in the music industry during his 15 year career. He has always worked behind the scenes and begun his career working for Columbia Records. He started out at Columbia Records as an intern in 1987 and in 1989 it was when he met Greg Walls, the two became instant friends and both individually made their way up the ranks at Columbia Records, with Greg eventually becoming Head Scout and Pete becoming the Head Of Artistic Development.
He continued with Columbia Records all his life and his most recent role and final role at the company was assuring the smooth running of the overseas projects, the official title being Manager of Overseas Development, he quit that role in 2008 and has spent the last three years as a reviewer of new talent for a New York based publication and has also spent the time directing small budget films and music videos.
He has been signed to Studio 60 as a Head Scout and his role is to find the very best undiscovered talent from in and around the USA.
His reputation for spotting talented stars has always been consistent and in the past he has discovered acts such as Band Of Horses, Jeff Buckley and Miranda Lambert. He also has a reputation for putting himself on the line in order to make a signing, one former member of staff at Columbia Records said this, “Pete’s always been hugely succesfull at finding talented stars but in the past he’s put his own career on the line in order to sign someone he believes in. I remember one time he threatened to quit his role if Columbia Records didn’t make a signing and on another occasion he decided to put his own money on an act when the label wouldn’t finance recording of an artists album, that album went on to sell over $3 million copies.”

Eddie Westerberg
UserPostedImage
Who Is Eddie Westerberg?

Eddie Westerberg has been involved in the entertainment industry for almost 25 years but has been more involved in film during his career. He has worked behind the scenes at Universal Studios for the majority of his career but has more recently worked for Reprise Records as a Vice President, he was brought into the company to try to help turn the label around following 4 years of struggling, during his time at Reprise Records he managed to get the label back on track and when he left in 2009 the label was in the best shape it has ever been in.
He will work as Vice-President at Studio 60 Records and will work closely with Greg Walls to make sure the label runs smoothly.
His reputation is often seen as very confrontational and unorthodox.

Emily Hanson
UserPostedImage
Who Is Emily Hanson?
Emily Hanson is a former TV Executive for CBS. She has little experience in the record industry but has been praised for her role at CBS. She gained a reputation as a friendly face in a world where “everyone was always serious and distant.” She’s expected to bring this quality into her role as head of marketing, she’s been described as very persuasive which is expected to help in the role, she will be in charge of organising promotional appearances for the labels acts, and will also be in charge of various other roles. She will not be heavily involved with the acts on a professional role but has assured us that she will be the common ground between the higher up’s or “suit’s” as she calls them, Greg Walls, Pete Brooks and Eddie Westerberg and the label’s acts.

Nina Franco
UserPostedImage
Who Is Nina Franco?
Nina Franco is a former NYU graduate, after finishing at NYU she took an internship with a small Indie label called Bohemian Like Us! she was in charge of promotions, trying to get the acts noticed which wasn’t always the easiest, “The acts on the label weren’t particularly good to say the least. It wasn’t easy to get people to go see them live.”
She quit in 2010 and is now Head Of Artistic Development at Studio 60 Records. She will work closely with the acts on the label and it’s her job to make sure they’re all happy at the label, everything from negotiating promotion cost’s tour dates ect.
She will also be working closely with Emily Hanson to make sure that all of the acts are happy with all promotional events arranged.

STUDIO 60 RECORDS HAVE SIGNED ROCK LEGEND
... ERIC QUILLINGTON

UserPostedImage

Studio 60 Records have signed the "genius" behind Midknight Skies and Blue Nebula. Revered by many for his songwriting and his musicianship he has quickly became one of the most recognizable faces in modern music. His partnership with Jason Smith of Mind has been brewing for a while now and he now joins his close friend on the same label. He has signed a one album solo contract with an option for a second and a third.

..... OHMAHGAWSH, I'M A ROCK LEGEND!

But, thanks for the warm welcome, Jason! It's terrific to be a part of this record label. I'm only in the rough early-stages of my debut solo album, but I can tell it's going to be a complete break from Infinite's usual affairs. Thanks for the chance to include me on this record label, everybody; you won't regret this!

-Eric Quillington
Kid Anything- Indie/Britpop/Shoegaze; influenced by Sigur Ros, XXYYXX, Kanye West, Blur, Oasis

(Bringing together an eclectic group of influences, Ulysses' songs are sung with carefree abandon by Nick Junk)

Kurt Ulysses - Songwriter, Guitarist, Backup Vocalist
Nick Junk - Vocals, Mojo

Infinite- Alternative/Experimental Rock; influenced by Muse, Radiohead, and The Beatles

(Known best for their experimental music and their frontman's eccentric behavior, the band disbanded after Eric Quillington's death to pursue solo careers or, in Matt Robert's case, peace of mind. Infinite released four albums over the course of their career; Blue Nebula, Midnight Skies, Insomnia, and Dancing about Architecture.)

Eric Quillington (Deceased) - Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar, Piano, Primary Lyricist
Matt Roberts - Bass
Greg Oldson - Drums, Backup Vocals, Secondary Lyricist
Amelia Florentine - Keyboards, Piano, Lyricist, Backup Vocals

"When asked 'how do you write?' I invariably answer, 'one word at a time', and this answer is invariably dismissed. But that's all it is. It sounds too simple to be true, but consider the Great Wall of China, if you will: one stone at a time, man. That's all. One stone at a time. But I've read you can see that motherfucker from space without a telescope."

She has a bright future ahead of her and we feel that the press have been hounding her on unfound rumours and speculation, we request that Katie is given freedom to get back on her feet and we look forward to a long and succesfull future for Katie at this label."
