Saffia: I'll buy the album too. I haven't heard "Pyramid" that much but "Red Light" is my fave song at the moment. Cherise could charge £80 for the album and I would still buy it just so I could listen to "Red Light" :) |

Lorraine interview and performance 14th March 2011 Lorraine: So I'm now joined by the ever so lovely Cherise (studio claps) Cherise who you may recall joined me on my show not so long ago with the excellent 'Pyramid' is back to perform an exclusive track off her debut album 'Destination Unknown' which is releaed today. So Cherise welcome
Cherise: Aww thank you Lorraine, i've got a little gift for you before we go on (cherise presents Lorraine with a bouquet of flowers, cd and tickets) just a little thank you for supporting me
Lorraine: Aww you are so lovely they so nice thank you
Cherise: The tickets are for any show you wish, also another pair with backstage passes to give away to a viewer
Lorraine: aww thats sweet, that competition will be coming up a little later on, so Cherise the albums now here?
Cherise: Yeah out today buy buy buy !!! (laughs) its my baby as I call it I've worked so hard on it and every track is a part of me there isn't one track I could say I'm not proud of
Lorraine: Well I have to say I have listened to the album and your voice on 'This is the time not the place' is amazing its so sultry and soulful
Cherise: Thanks hun I loved that song it was so different for me bit of swing/soul stripped back vocals and rawness to it loved performing it in the studio with a band it was so good to experience.
Lorraine: So not only is the album out today but you just clocked up a 2nd top ten smash with 'Redlight' and you got the tour coming up and your also on MattY's new track 'Takin Over', your a busy lassy
Cherise: All work me (laughs) I love every minute of it though, two top ten singles under my belt a practically sold out tour, hopefully an album people love and buy and working with MattY again is always a pleasure and I love 'Takin Over' he's just a genius at what he does
Lorraine: So what else is there to come for Cherise?
Cherise: Well after the tour finishes I got few weeks off so I'm off on holiday yayyy (laughs) then back to prepare for Miss Vanity support tour, Alicia Lena and few festivals over summer before heading back to studio
Lorraine: so will there be a 3rd top 10 single off the album?
Cherise: Oh yeah forgot bout that (laughs) blame overworking a third single will be coming out around April time I believe not yet chosen what it will be but have a few in mind
Lorraine: Well Cherise thank you again its always so nice to have you here, your going to perform for us at the end of the show an exclusive I believe
Cherise: Yes i'm going to be performing 'Intoxicated World' just for you Lorraine
Lorraine: Stay tuned guys for the lovely Cherise performing that exclusive track before the end of the show, thanks again and good luck with the album 'Destination Unknown' out today and with the tour
(studio claps) Cherise takes to the small studio stage with her 2 backing singers and live band as she performs the mid tempo exclusive track 'Intoxicated world' with smooth harmonies and a lovely tone to her voice, Cherise performs the song with vulnarability that helps pass on the emotion of the song and lyrics shes singing. |

Cherise: Had a great start to the week was lovely to see Lorraine again she always so nice and welcoming and loved performing 'Intoxicated World' hope you all enjoyed the little exclusive for you. Cherise blog 22nd March Hey guys quick blog may be last for while as you all know the Redlight tour kicks off this friday for 2 weeks I can't wait to hit the road and hope to see as many of you there as possible, the fabulous Millie little is of course joining me on the road going to have some girly fun when we're not performing lots of shopping, if you are coming you never know who you may see I've heard a few stars are going to be attending dates through-out the tour, which makes me little nervous.
I wanna thank you all once again for the support for 'Destination Unknown' and of course 'Redlight' and 'Pyramid' I will be revealing the third single to come off the album very soon and I'm very excited for it.
MattY and Myself are also over the moon at the response to 'Takin Over' glad you all like it as much as we do
Remember to keep requesting 'Takin Over' 'Redlight'(MattYMix) and 'Pyramid' on those radios they still playing them all for your ears to enjoy ;-)
After the tour I will be taking a slight holiday, I think I deserve one although knowing me I will end up working somehow in someway before powering back to shoot the third video for new single which I'm still planning on releasing a.s.a.p
