BLOG UPDATE – 7 FEBRUARY, 2012‘THE BEAUTY IS IN THE ATTEMPT’ ‘Every morning
you have two choices
Continue to sleep with dreams
Or wake up and chase your dreams
The choice is your’Good evening to each and every one of you. I hope you’re all having a wonderful day so far, it’s definitely a beautiful day here in New York City. Every time I look out of my window I can see all the way down into Central Park from my home and it’s the perfect sight. I just want to take this opportunity to talk to you guys not just about music but about life and the things we all find difficult, but also the importance to make the most of it. The world is a scary place sometimes, I think we can all agree with that and because of that I feel it’s important to be the best version of yourself, show a smile to a stranger or take the time to make sure a close friend has someone to talk to because it can be all too easy to keep our own problems to ourselves. There comes a time in everybody’s life where things get a little difficult, things start to unravel and move in the wrong direction. It’s easy to think that things are unfixable at these times but the truth is that nothing in this world is unfixable it just takes the right kind of attitude and inspiration to change it and put things back on track and into the right direction. It’s a cliché to say that the difficult things make you stronger but it’s true, during difficult times there will be questions to be answered, There will be many questions to be asked but the only one important is, when you wake up each morning will you choose to move forward or simply give up? So for those of you out there reading this be it a waitress at a bar or a famous musician, all I ask is for you to not rest on your laurels and live off of past glory’s because this life is way too short to be spent reminiscing about the good times gone and instead your energy’s should be saved for the heady times in front of you, whatever your calling may be in this life just please make the most of it, we all have something to share with the world even if it is something as simple as a smile so don’t be afraid to show it, take the risks and know that you’ve made the most of this life and hopefully you’ll be able to stand proud when all that’s left is you. As for me, these next few months will be incredibly busy for me as I put all of my focus and energy into music, I’m looking to create something timeless and inspirational, something that will push people and drive them forward and encourage them to take their chances while they can, something that can live on way beyond my own time here on earth, it may be a old-fashioned but I still believe that music has the power to truly make a change in people’s life and give people something to believe in. I’m writing and recording my third album right now and I feel blessed to even be thinking about my third album as so many artists these days don’t reach that, I have a working title for the album called ‘Reign Over Me’ that is subject to change, an early estimate for a release date would be perhaps sometime in May, however my lead single from the album ‘Drop The Needle And Pray!” will be available on February 19, that song will hopefully give a good indication of the albums musical and lyrical feel and I hope you all enjoy it. I won’t go on and on talking about my new music and instead I’ll leave things as they are for now.
