The owners of MOFR Records are being sued by Chris "Rel" Young: The Atlanta rapper is suing the owners of the for more than $2 million (2.4 million) amid allegations of breach of contract. The rapper – formerly signed to MOFR – claims he has only received partial payments for his work on his sophmore album. Rel filed his lawsuit in the United States Eastern District Court in Atlanta on 26 February (11), alleging he entered into an exclusive deal to provide production for artists on the YRMGroster, including Trell and mote carlos. Rel claims he was never paid in full for his albums including that was released on the label. Also rel goes on to allege that the records have gone on to sell over a million copies – and he should at least be entitled to the $2.25 million worth of work put in. Not only does he own a record label, a production company, he's also a sound engineer, all while touring on major cities. sHIIIIIIIIIt @Wiz Khalifa first rule of suing someone.
