“I think I said all of the right words last night just fine,” Nichole counters with a laugh. “I mean, I got what I wanted, right?” She lays back down on the pillows of the bed, holding the menu above her head as she reads it. “Man, an omelet would absolutely kick ass right now.” Her stomach seemed to growl in agreement. She rolls over onto her stomach and looks up at Adam. “Pretty please call the front desk and ask them for a Denver omelet with a side of bacon and a mimosa, please and thank you?”

“Good dick, a restful sleep, getting to wear one of those nice ass robes in the closet…” Nichole names off all of the things that she had wanted the night before, checking them off an imaginary list as she does. “Thaaaanks,” she says in a little voice when Adam gets off the phone, kissing his cheek as she hops off the bed and walks towards the bathroom. “I’m gonna check out the shower situation while we wait for the food.”

“Good to know, good to know…” Nichole strips back off her clothes and turns on the shower, taking her time getting clean before coming back into the room with a towel wrapped around her body. She stands next to Adam and shakes her head violently, throwing water droplets from her shaggy wet hair all around the room and all over Adam. “Damn, you were right, good shower.” She grabs one of the robes from out of the closet and wraps herself up in it, and then opens the door to the balcony, grabbing her cigarettes out of her pants pocket on the way there. “What’s your plans for the day? Anything?” she asks, leaning between the doorway from the room to the balcony, her hand with the lit cigarette in it stretched outside in a shallow attempt to keep the smoke from getting into the room.

“Oh yeah? What kind of revenge will you enact upon me for that?” Nichole asks playfully, giving her hair another little shake at Adam’s expense. She shrugs when he asks her what she had planned for today. Nichole rarely made plans, mostly because people rarely asked her to do things anymore. But she certainly wasn’t going to let Adam know that. “I don’t know, I had a couple of things lined up, but I’ll probably bail on them,” she lies. “Maybe I just want to lay around this hotel room and eat omelets with you.”

Nichole finishes her cigarette, flicking it off the balcony, and retreats back into the room, leaving the balcony door open so a nice breeze wafts in. “Airing out the room, it smells like fuck in here,” she says with a laugh as she throws herself onto the bed, all wrapped up in the robe she wanted so much. “Okay, we can do anything we want all day. What are we doing? Stealing a car? Committing armed robbery? Going on a spending spree? Your money, of course.”

“Psh,” Nichole waves her hand as if to say ‘I don’t really want that.’ “I would much rather do the other things than go on a shopping spree.” She thinks for a moment. “Did you order any booze with our breakfast order? It feels like a day-drinking sort of day.” Most days were a day-drinking sort of day for Nichole.
