Sammy smiles, "well i wasn't sure if you wanted to drink tonight. Sometimes you do!" he laughs. He starts to look through the menus, "I wonder what i'll have today... What are you fancying?"

Sammy smiles, "Yeah sure, we should get a big plate of spaghetti and meat balls and we can be like lady and the tramp!" he laughs and reaches out for her hand gently squeezing it.

Sammy looks into her eyes and smiles, "Okay babe, i'll order that then if they come back while you're at the toilets."

Pretty much as soon as Melva has headed off, the waiter comes back over with the drinks. "Can I take your order now?"

Sammy nods, "yes please, can we get a bruscietta to start please, and then a large sharing spaghetti with meatballs in a bolognese sauce? We'd also love to have a small bowl of Parmesan cheese please."

The waiter nods his head, reads the order out again and then goes to the kitchen with his slip. Sammy takes a nice long sip of his refreshing beer while he waits for Melva to return.

Sammy shakes his head, "nope, should be here shortly.... I hope!!" He looks at her enquiringly, "You okay babe? You were in their an awfully long time!"

Sammy ignores what she says about the food, "What is it? Are you okay?"

He holds her hand, he's really worried about her now because she never stutters around him any more. "What's so bad that you can't tell me baby?" He looks at her and smiles, "Look, whatever it is, you'll feel better for telling me!"

The waiter arrives with the food now and places it in the centre of the table. He provides Sammy and Melva with a smaller plate each as well. Sammy nods at the waiter in thanks, "could i get another Fosters please mate? Thanks"

Sammy breathes a sigh of relief, "Thank god that's all it is! I though you were dying or something!" He smiles and leans across the table to kiss her, "You're sure?! Like you're definitely pregnant?" He is struggling to contain his excitement

Sammy smiles, he moves closer to her, "Look, you are gonna be an amazing mum. I promise you. And when i'm not around you've got all your family, my family, and all of the girls! I Promise that we'll all be okay - the three of us!"

"I love you too darling!" He kisses her and then moves back around again so he can get proper access to his plate. He starts to pile the food on.

"Luckily it's early enough in the pregnancy that it won't be noticeable for the wedding photographs!" He laughs and smiles at her again, his eyes are glistening with happiness.

Sammy smiles, "baby, no-one will think you're a slut! You're having the baby of your future husband, who is the only guy you've ever been with! It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks anyway, as long as we're happy!!
