"Awww..." Faith says when Kai mentions chasing away her cat when it was trying to eat. "It's such a little fatass..." she says in a sing-song-y voice when she sees the cat peak it's face around the corner, looking back at the two of them. They had had the cat for a while now, and she still hadn't named it or figured out if it was a boy or a girl. Just calling it The Cat or Stupid Cat seemed to work for them just fine, and fit the whole dynamic of their household pretty well anyway. Faith laughs and shakes her head. "The girlfriend/bottle opener combo was a limited edition model. Not every one can boast that they snagged one." She winks and shakes her head. She liked that Kai thought of her little quirks as attractive and cool - not everybody did. Faith is still a little stunned when Kai continues on with his joke about marriage. "I..." She starts, and then remembers all the conversations that they used to have. Kai wasn't the marrying type, he had to be tricking her. "I can't take you seriously when you're eating a sausage roll, Kai. Especially on this topic." She grins and nudges him in the side with her elbow lightly.

Kai laughs and looks over at where the cat is and scowls at it. "I caught it sniffing around my weed yesterday. Imagine the munchies it would go on if it ate that....fat cunt," he laughs. "Speaking of..." He pulls a spliff from his pocket and smiles, holding it out to Faith. "Rolled lovingly for you. I thought you might want to relax after a hard day at work," Kai says with a smile. He lights it for her and then smirks. "Does that mean I got lucky then? I'll have to keep hold of that combo in case it becomes worth a bit of money in the future," he winks. As he stands with his back to her, Kai is trying his best to not laugh at Faith's squirming about marriage. He assumed she still felt the same as she had when they had talked about it in the past, so he was amused at her trying to make sense of what he was saying. But when when she nudges into him and calls him out, Kai tuts and turns around, a big grin on his face. "Sorry you got me love. I was struggling to keep me face straight there," he chuckles. |

"Aw, thank you," Faith says with a grin, putting the spliff in her mouth and leaning forward for him to light it for her. She takes a long drag and grins. "This is like the modern interpretation of the 1960s husband coming home to a martini and a home-cooked meal." She motions to the joint and then the table of munchie foods. She kisses his cheek again and smiles brightly. "Well, you definitely got lucky," Faith says back, goofily laughing at her own lame joke when Kai says that he got lucky with getting her. Of course, she thought that the double meaning was hilarious, but it probably wasn't as funny as she thought it was. Faith is both surprised and slightly disappointed when Kai admits that he was joking around about them getting married. She had no problem with them staying the way that they are, but them getting married would mean a lot to her as well. It would finally mean that maybe Kai really was a changed man and was willing to be completely committed to her. Of course, she felt like she could never say any of that out loud to him. "I knew it," she says back simply, a small smile on her face. She shakes her head and grabs one of the mini pizzas off the table. She takes a bite and lets out a small moan. "Holy shit, this is good..." she says, trying to take the attention off of how awkward she felt after that joke he played on her.

Kai inhales and takes a strong smell of the weed when he lights Faith's spliff. "Can you smell how good that is? No shit weed for my woman," Kai says with a wink. When she likens them to the 1960s, Kai chuckles. "I think that's the first time either of us has ever been called traditional. To be fair to me though, I am a bloody good housewife," he laughs. "If it's the 60s and you're the husband though...aren't you supposed to strike me in frustration at your bloody long day?" Kai smiles when she told him he got lucky. "I did. In a sink....on your kitchen table...on the floor...and then for real," he smiles and kisses her again. When she reacts to his own joke about marriage though, Kai feels a little jolt of surprise. This was different to how he expected it to go. He thought she was only joking as well. As much as Kai loved her and was 100% committed to being a loving boyfriend, the actual idea of marriage hadn't actually crossed his mind, mostly because the two of them had agreed they would never get married. But he could see a change in Faith at that very moment. Especially when she takes a bite of the very cheap pizza and acts like it was made in the heart of Rome itself. He narrows his eyes. "The pizza's shite, love. What's up?" he asks. He hoped she would tell him and not try to hide her worries. |

Faith throws her head back in laughter when Kai continues the joke of them being a 60s couple. "You are such a good housewife. Look how clean you keep the place, and what a great dinner you made me." She winks and gives him a little kiss. "No beatings tonight. You've performed at or near expectations today." She giggles when she thinks about the first night they met. There was something so incredibly sexy about that night, and she still thought about it a lot from time to time. Faith sighs when Kai calls her out about something obviously being up. She takes another bite of the pizza and shrugs. "It's not that I want to get married," she starts after she swallows a piece. "But I don't DON'T want to get married... you know what I mean?" She sighs. "I mean, obviously it would really mean something if we did. And it would mean a lot to me. I don't know. I don't even know why I brought it up. Sorry."

Kai smirks and sits on the edge of the window sill. "You know how it is love. I spend most of my day sat here trying to make sure I look pretty for you coming home," he laughs. "Thank you, dear. To be fair, it you did beat me, who could tell? You'd never even be able to see a bruise on me." He laughs and then takes the spliff from her, taking a long hit from it. Kai loved his drugs, even if he had managed to tone down his use a bit since he met Faith. Prior to that, he was basically constantly wrecked, but he thought it wouldn't be fair on her if he was never even slightly lucid. Kai narrows his eyes a bit when she mentions marriage like that. It was only a few months since they had both said they never wanted marriage or kids. He raises an eyebrow a little, but he knew she wasn't joking. "That's a bit of a change, Browdy..." he says with a chuckle. "What made you change your mind anyway?" |

"Yeah, just a bit of a change..." Faith says back with a small laugh. He didn't seem angry or upset with her over what she said, so she was feeling alright about this conversation so far. His next question was one that made her think. What did make her change her mind? "I guess I see it like this..." She starts, sitting on the window sill next to him and sighing. "I love you. I mean, you know that. I love you a whole hell of a lot..." She gives him a small smile. "And you love me, too. Or, at least, you do a pretty good job of pretending to," she jokes. "And you know I'm not one of those people who are like, 'If you're in love, you have to get married!' or whatever. But..." She sighs again, knowing that she's going to have to get into a difficult subject for both of them. "I think it would just show me how committed you are to me, Kai... Because that's something I think about daily. And it's scary. Like, terrifying. And not something I ever thought would happen. I mean, I've always thought that if somebody cheats on me, the relationship would be over, right then and there. But obviously that didn't happen that way this time..." She lets out another sigh and runs her hands through her orange hair, trying to find a way to end this small monologue without making herself sound stupid. "You know, maybe this is a one time thing because you got me thinking about it, and maybe tomorrow I'll go right back to the idea of hating marriage and all that, but... I don't know. I don't know, Kai." She laughs and looks up at him. "I mean, just the fact that you didn't scream at me when I even brought it up means a lot... I'm pretty easy to please, aren't I?"

Kai laughs softly. He wasn't sure what had brought this on with Faith, but even though the actual idea of marriage was something that terrified the hell out of him, he supposed there was no harm in her wanting it. When she sits down on the sill beside him, Kai smiles and puts his arm around her as he takes another hit from the spliff. Be chuckles a little and shakes his head. "Of course I love you, Browds. I wouldn't be here if I didn't," he says with a smile. As he continues to listen though, his smile fades a little. She was going into the whole cheating thing again, and although Kai had no one to blame but himself for thst, he still didn't like to hear her say it out loud, because he knew that it still hurt her inside. He could see it in her eyes often when there was a quiet moment, as if she was still thinking about it, and Kai hated that she had been hurt like that. "No...no I totally get what you mean yeah. That makes sense. I always thought if someone so much as mentioned the idea of getting married to me I would be out the door in a second, but I can see where you're coming from. If makes sense yeah." He smiles at her when she says that his not freaking out had made her happy. "What can I say, love? You take a man all the way to Germany and domesticate him, then sometimes he might even become a little more mature," Kai smirks. "Don't feel like you have to wake up tomorrow and pretend that you hate the idea of marriage though, Browds. I'm not going to freak out or anything. I get where you're coming from," he says as he leans down to slowly kiss her. |

Faith leans up and kisses Kai, a small smile still remaining on her face. She felt good that they had had this conversation and finally got everything out in the open, but guilty about it as well. "I'm sorry... You planned this great evening for us and I went and ruined it with all my talk of marriage..." She slips her hand into his and leans her head on his shoulder. "I still can't believe I ever convinced you to move out here for me. That should be enough to convince me you're committed to me. You moved to a whole different country than me, and I think that rings and words will mean more than that." She scoffs and shakes her head at herself. "Can we just pretend that this never happened, and I'm not a total fool?" She takes this spliff from him and takes a hit, and then kisses him again - another silent thank you for everything he's done for her just that day.

Kai smiles at Faith, seeing how happy she was in that moment. It was almost like their conversation had calmed her in some way - as if she had been worrying about something. Kai could instantly see that she looked more relaxed and at peace, even though he hadn't noticed when she wasn't. "Don't worry about it, love. I wanted to make this night for you anyway, so it's fine. Talk about whatever you want," he chuckles. When she talks about them moving, Kai smiles. "Partly you, partly the sex....mostly the kick ass German beer..." he jokes. "Nah, you know I moved here for you, Browds. I know what it meant to you for us to come here...and I know why....so it was the least I could do." He smiles and kisses her through the cloud of weed smoke. "You're not a fool, love," he tells her softly.

"Well, whatever you came here for, thank you," Faith says with a laugh and a kiss. "I know I say it all the time, but you really do mean a lot to me. It's weird to think about ever being without you..." She sighs and opens her hands from around his, tracing the lines on his palm and she speaks. "I know sometimes you have to travel, and I can't always go with you because we have, you know, separate jobs and other things we have to take care of... but I miss you so much when you're gone. I just hate it when you disappear."

Kai smiles. He always found it endearing the way Faith would get so sentimental. When they were first screwing around, she had been so distant emotionally, but it was totally different now, and he likd that about her. "You mean a lot to me, love. A whole fucking lot," Kai smiles. He listens as she speaks, taking another hit of the spliff and nodding along. "I know. It's hard when we're apart and that. I guess we're cursed with that in the line of work we do," he says with a sigh. "I do miss you when we're not both here though. For such a small person, the bed sure does feel empty when you're not in it," he smirks. "I'd suggest myself retiring so we could be together more...but given the amount of narcotics you ingest, we'd last about a week on one wage," Kai jokes, nudging Faith gently with his hip. |

Faith laughs and shakes her head. "Yeah, there's no way we could get by without both of us bringing in money... Plus, not that I'm a traditionalist by any means, but I think I'd get pretty pissy if I was the only one working..." She kisses him softly. The cat creeps out of the bedroom and up to the two of them, rubbing it's head against their legs. "Aww... We need to get the cat a friend. And a name..." Faith says as she bends down and picks the cat up, placing it on her lap. "By the way - speaking of reasons why you can't retire yet - did you ever find a car that you wanted?" Faith felt like a super villain with a big, fluffy cat on her lap - which she loved. Sometimes her and Kai's life had major ups and downs, but for the most part, she was insanely happy with their life and their dynamic. She didn't think she really had any reason to worry.

Kai smirks. "We could both give up tattoos....and alcohol....and drugs....yeah I think we should both just keep working. The other option doesn't really bare thinking about."He laughs. "Hey, at least if you were the only one working though, you would come home to a cooked meal and a wife waiting to pleasure you every night," he chuckles, winking at her. Kai watches as the cat walks into the room and Faith picks it up. He and the cat had a mutual level of respectful resentment for each other. "I thought 'cat' worked well for it. What did you want to call it? How about Lion?" He laughs and then shakes his head. "Sadly I've not been sober enough since then to test drive one, so I didn't bother looking. I do want summat fast though. I know how you girls are impressed by a bad boy in a fast car," he says, leaning over to kiss her.

Dustyn is at home with his boyfriend Dallas as he prepares for the busy and nerve-wracking night that lays ahead. Tonight, Dustyn plans to meet Juneau which is Dallas' band and group of close friends. The quirky, larger than life pop star is usually fine with meeting the boyfriend's friends. Normally, he would chat away and just be himself without a care in the world and being in the world's biggest pop band, confidence was never an issue until tonight for some odd reason. When meeting Blake's friends as well as Adam's, Dustyn wasn't too fussed as he had probably acquainted himself with them beforehand as a lot of them tended to be pop stars too so their paths would often cross. They also had many things to talk about as they had a lot in common. Juneau are from a completely different scene though and he imagined that they wouldn't want to associate with a "pretty boy" pop star like himself. Of course, that was all a lot of rubbish but his nerves and imagination are getting the better of him. Originally, the pair planned on going out with the band while Blake took the kids until Sunday however, as Shay isn't all that well he stayed at home. Unable to leave his kid behind, Dustyn decided to invite the band around to his place. Shay's cold is a blessing in disguise as staying at home means that Dustyn will be in familiar, comfortable surroundings which may help ease things.
Flustered, Dustyn rushes about the living room tidying up over and over again despite the place looking perfect as it is. He dashes about in just a pair of grey jogging bottoms, still needing to put on a shirt and some socks before the band arrives. "Dallas, does we have enough beers for tonight?" Dustyn asks, running his hand through his hair. He has already asked this question several times before but he just wants to make sure everything is perfect. Meanwhile, as Dustyn is stressing out, Shay comes toddling over to Dallas without a care in the world. He is eating a little cream filled sponge cake bar which is basically a Twinkie but shaped like a little bear. He holds the half eaten treat out to Dallas, offering him some of it while grabbing at his leg. As Shay's speaking still hasn't developed yet, he uses a lot of gestures and gets a little physical when he wants to communicate. |

Dallas had arrived in London somewhat earlier than the rest of his band, given that he was to bring his friends to meet Dustyn today. It was something that Dustyn had asked him, and he thought that since they would all be in London anyway for a little celebration the band had planned, it might as well happen today. He wasn't all that comfortable about the prospects of how formal it all seemed - normally he just left it to his friends to meet someone he was with naturally. He was never really the relationship type anyway. But since Dustyn had asked, he went along with it. He wasn't really sure how his bandmate's would react to it either. Like him, they were all very laid back, and all of them who were coming along tonight were single as well, so it wasn't really something they were used to. Jordan had even tried to duck out of it. He was a little younger than everyone else and because he had joined up last, he was a bit unsure about getting involved in anyone's personal life. But Dallas had convinced him to come, since he wanted Dustyn to see he was making an effort. What he knew would make it harder for Jordan was the fact Kellin wasn't there. He may have often been the brunt of Kellin's jokes, but it was something that allowed him to just sit back and not have to talk too much, just the way he liked it.
Dallas was struggling to see what Dustyn was so worked up about. These guys were his closest friends and he didn't see the big issue. Whenever they came to his apartment, it was normally just a bit of a mess anyway. He was just dressed as Dallas always is, with a white tshirt and a pair of dark jeans on as he sits and waits for his friends to arrive. "Beers? Well yeah. Don't panic, I don't think they'll drink all that much anyway. Seriously, stop stressing out," he says with a little sigh. He knew Dustyn couldn't really help it, but he'd prefer if he'd be a bit calmer. "It's just my band," Dallas laughs. He stops laughing when Shay comes over, though. It was the one part of this relationship Dallas was uneasy about. He had never really been around kids before, and he didn't know how to deal with them at all. When he offers some of the cake to Dallas, Dallas holds his hand up. "Ummm.....No thank you," he says quietly, smiling at Shay.

OOC: Sorry for the late reply, my internet was being a dickhead earlier :P
Dustyn thought that having the band over, opening a few beers and getting to know one another would be rather pleasant. If things go well, they could always go out somewhere as a group some other time and even go on to form a god relationship. While that was the pretty picture in Dustyn's head earlier on, as the clock ticks away that laid back atmosphere Dustyn conjured up has now turned into fear, worry and stress. He's stressing out in order to acheive a relaxed atmosphere and that just doesn't work. Dustyn himself honestly has no idea why he is nervous and that itself is making him more uncomfortable. It's like he's not in control and it's freaking him out. This is a guy who is one of the main singers in the most sought-after pop band, a guy who is no strangers to singing, talking and being himself live in front of millions and who also came out to the whole world at just 16. Nerves are something Dustyn rarely has and he just can't deal with it.
"I is getting a headache. I swear to God if I is coming down with something......I just don'ts feel like myself. Tonight of all nights." Dustyn sighs and looks rather upset, running a hand through his hair. He does look rather red in the face but that could just be due to all of the rushing about. Dustyn always looks upbeat and cheery with his constant smile, startling blue eyes, bright blonde hair and the constant spring in his step. Tonight, though, he does look rather drained. "Dallas, I has no idea what I is doing. My head is up my arse tonight." He sighs and sits down on the chair adjacent to Dallas. Once in the chair, he lays back and exhales as he melts into the comfortable cushions. Dustyn holds his arms out, gesturing for Shay to come over. The smiling toddler comes waddling over, holding the cake out for Dustyn now. "No thank you, Shay." he says, shaking his head slowly to emphasise that he does not want it. Dustyn brings his son up onto his lap, keeping him close and away from Dallas. Dustyn knows that Dallas is uncomfortable being around them as it's not that hard to tell. This always worries Dustyn as he does not want to scare Dallas off. While being good with the kids is important to Dustyn, it's not really a necessity just yet as their relationship hasn't been going on too long. Hopefully, in time, Dallas will warm to them. The last thing Dustyn wants right now is for Dallas to think that he has to be really involved with the kids at this moment in time and act like some sort of second father. They are Dustyn's kids and he doesn't mind being the only one really looking after them. |

ooc: Sorry, I had my parents down to visit and they just went home now.
Dallas could tell that Dustyn was getting unnecessarily wound up, and if truth be told, it was irritating him a little. He had grown up and always lived in a city and a scene where things were just taken easy and everyone was very laid back, so this sort of stress over what was essentially nothing just gave him a bad feeling. His band wouldn't even take it that seriously either. To them, Dustyn and Dallas had only been dating for a short amount of time, so this just felt like a group of people hanging out somewhere as opposed to some big meeting of someone's boyfriend. They had always been laid back when it came to Dallas' boyfriends, and they were all used to him being gay now. Even the fact Dustyn was ten times more famous than them wouldn't really get to them. They were just normal guys who didn't really let what anyone else thought of them get to them either way.
Dallas sighs a little when Dustyn starts freaking out again. It wasn't that he was annoyed, he just didn't understand how someone could get into such a tizz over literally nothing at all. "Look....it's just my friends coming for a random hang out. It's not some sort of interview or anything. Can you just calm down," he says as nicely as they can. "They're laid back guys. They're going to get on better with you and accept you more if you just chill a bit, I'm serious." He watches as Dustyn lifts Shay and smiles at him. He didn't mind the kids at all. It was just that looking after kids was not his thing at all, and it wasn't something he really wanted to be involved with either - at least not at this stage in his life. "You're really good with him," he tells Dustyn with a smile.

OOC: No problem, been quite busy myself too :P
Dustyn sits back in his chair, holding Shay close to him. He doesn't want to get on Dallas' nerves and exacerbate thing, and to be honest, he is already irritating himself so he can only imagine how Dallas must feel while listening to him. Dustyn knows deep down that there is nothing to worry about and from what he's seen of the band via Twitter they all seem lovely but as he's not quite feeling himself today, the littlest things are getting at him. Dustyn takes a deep breath as he tries to calm himself down, feeling rather irritated and the last thing he wants to do is snap at Dallas. Little does Dustyn know, he is suffering from extreme exhaustion. The non-stop work over the past three years have finally caught up. Being part of Weekend then coming home to look after three young boys and previously being involved in rocky relationships, it's only understandable that he is completely worn out. "I think I is just coming down with something....just ignore me." He sighs and picks up the crumbs from Shay's cake which have fallen onto his lap. "I know that they is nice, I is just being stupid like always. You could always gives me a kiss to make me feels better" He giggles and playfully winks at Dallas. When Dallas compliments his parenting skills, he smiles and kisses Shay softly on the cheek. If there is one thing people can't take away from him, it's his parenting skills. He may have a few flaws and made a couple of wrong decisions in his time but he will do anything for his kids and is a loving father. "I think it's time this one goes to bed." |

Dallas laughs a little and shakes his head. "You're just fretting over it. I know what you're like, but honestly there is no need at all." He smiles over at him. "They're not even going to really bother all that much about meeting you," he says, trying to make the meeting seem less important to make it seem like less of a stress to Dustyn. "All they will want is to talk to someone new and have a beer. They're good guy like that." He smiles and walks across the room slowly, before kissing Dustyn gently. He knew it would make him feel better, and he would do anything right now to make sure that Dustyn was more relaxed. It would make the meeting easier on them all.
"Sure, he looks tired anyway. Besides, I don't think any of the guys would be great with meeting him yet. It's weird but all we've ever known is each other, and none of us have kids, so no one's used to even being around them," he laughs. It was true as well. Since they were 17 all they had done was work and do their music, so they were only ever with each other and it felt weird when they were a little out of their comfort zone, not around other people, but when someone's kids were around, it just made them feel like they didn't know what to say or do. They couldn't swear or smoke, which seemed a bit less fun. |
