Lea: Hello and welcome to Lea Loves.... I'm your host and interviewer Lea Martinez. This show is about me interviewing you favourite celebrities and talking about them and some juicy gossip.

Today I am here with 5 fabulous girls. The have topped the UK charts, released 5 hit singles, a double-platinum album and they are only between the ages of 18-22. I think you already know who I'm talking about. Today Lea Loves......Brown Sugar!!
Let's take a look at thes girls in action!

Lea: Hi girls. It lovely to meet you. I'm so excited your here. You can already tell I'm not an interviewer today, I'm a fan!

(they laugh)

Brown Sugar: Hi Lea

Lea: Now we are here to talk about your music careers, as a group and as solo artists and also on future plans. So we'll start with the group. How did you girls come about.

Ife: I used to sing in school shows and win them all (laughs). Then soon nearly everyone in my town heard me sing and wanted me to sing at parties, weddings and stuff like that. One day, I was singing in a club and a talent scout was in and I didn't know this at the time and after my performance, he came up to me and asked me if I was interested in being in a band and I was like "Yes, of course, that would be amazing!" and then it just kinda took off from there.

Victoria: I auditioned for the band when I heard that a new girl band was being formed and I'm so glad I was chosen to be in the line-up. I was a child model and I had given it up about 3 or 4 years before I joined the band because music has always been my first and biggest passion.

Una: I joined very similar to how Ife joined. I was in a local talent show and a talent scout was there, actually the same one that was at Ife's performance. I sang "Big Girls Don't Cry" with my guitar and I won, which was great and I thought that it was the most amazing feeling of my life until after the show when I was given the option of joining a band.

Saffia: Me and Chloe were in a band together before but we split up before releasing anything. Me and Chloe stayed quite close and decided to audition for this band that we heard was being formed and as luck would have it, both of us got in!

Chloe: Yes, It was a great feeling being accepted and especially when one of my friends was in the band with me, It just felt like a dream come true

Lea: Your debut album and 4 out of your 5 singles have went top 10 in the UK, how does that feel?

Victoria: Absolutely fantastic, we didn't expect a lot of success because our first single "Don't Wanna Know" only reached No.27. But when our album went straight into the top ten, it gave us more hope and it was amazing when our second single "Moving Up" went top 10 and our third single "Can't Hide It" went straight to number 1. Those are the only singles we have released here (OOC: In the Forums). But hopefully our next two singles do as well as they did in the UK chart.

Lea: Ife, you are releasing a solo album aren't you?

Ife: Yes, I am. I have recorded about 6 tracks and I'm starting to write more. I'm releasing it as a kind of side project and just for fun. Like Victoria, I think that I'll just have the one album and then just focus on the group.

Lea: Will your pregnancy have an impact on this?

Ife: Songwriting wise, yes. As I will write a few songs about the joy of motherhood. Music video and promoting wise, no. I have already shot the next 2 Brown Sugar singles, I've shot the video that I am doing with Victoria and I will shoot my first solo single in the summer, I know I'll be heavily pregnant then but I will be wearing lots of big dresses so that it covers up the bump and I'm not doing any dance routines.

Lea: You are going into Big Brother aren't you?

Ife: Yes I am. I'm so excited about it as it is one of my favourite shows ever and also Jennifer from Storm, who is such a sweetie, will be in their with me.

Lea: Victoria, how is your solo career coming along?

Victoria: Great, I'll release the next single in the summer as well as the album. I hope it does really well in the charts.

Lea: How are you and Matt? Tell me all the gossip (laughs)

Victoria: I miss him so much whilst he is on tour. He is my babe and I love him so much. Not much gossip.........yet

Lea: Any other projects?

Una: I'll be starting my own line of shoes and bags, which I'm really excited about. As ever knows, I'm so into fashion!

Chloe: I'm doing some charity work. I'll be making appearances at events and I will be fundraising for underprivilidged children.

Saffia: I'm unsure yet. I was going to do a bit of acting but we'll just have to wait and see if I'm cut out for it or not. Hopefully, I'll appear on a TV show soon!

Lea: Wow, it seems like you girls are so busy! Can't wait to see all of yor projects come to life.

Lea: Now, we come to the time when the studio audience get to ask the girls anything! Let's see......we have a question from the young lady with the glasses in the front row. What's your name dear?

Pamela: It's Pamela

Lea: And what is your question?

Pamela: Hi girls, my 5 year old daughter is my inspiration for writing a few stories I've written. I was just wondering where you get your inspirations from.

Chloe: Anything and everything. Whether it be an event that has happened in my life or if it something that you see out of your window or even things in the news.

Ife: For me, it is relationships, bad ones or good ones. They tend to have a strong impact on my writing.

Lea: Yes, the man in the blue shirt.

Man: Hi, there are so many girl bands around now and they are not very talented. Do you think that you are better than all of those other untalented bitches.

*Audience Boo!!!!!*

Una: First of all lots of girlbands are talented like G2L, Hard Sugar, Storm, Angel and MiSTAR. Secondly, we do not think we are better than anyone else, we are different and have a different sound just like each and every other band. Thirdly, you are the most hated person in this studio right now. And lastly, your clothes are so last year mate!

Lea: Ok, well that was.......different (laughs)

Saffia: A bit unexpected!

Lea: I know right, Last question.....the girl with the headscarf.

Girl: Hi, I was wondering, do you girls have a personal favourite song of yours that is close to your heart or you just love dancing to. I'm in love with "Be With Me"

Una: I love "Can't Hide It" It was our first Number 1 and it was the first song I've ever written.

Saffia: I love "Be With Me". It is so funkilicious!

Chloe: A track on the album called "Her". I love it

Victoria: It has to be our first single "Don't Wanna Know"

Ife: For me, it's got to be "Moving Up". It is so fierce and has a great beat to it.
