While
Firecracker 47 get back on their feet, their former drummer has landed on hers. Misty, generally known as
Mikki Moo, is planning on starting her own solo career.
"Jimmy [Bishop, DBM CEO] and I discussed it at length," says Mikki, "and we both agree that it's not over yet for me. I've got plenty of talent and life still left in me! It's not the end."
"Mikki's first song is 'Love Of My Life', a classy pop song with a simple beat, just Mikki's style. Nick [Biggs, Moronic Changeling drummer] and I helped her write it," says Bikki Hetestein, DBM's favourite songwriter. "She needed some help putting her emotions into words and music, but we got there in the end."

Because you're the love of my life'Love Of My Life' will be released on Monday, the same day as Firecracker 47's single 'Melanie'. Mikki also plans to release her debut album on the same day as Firecracker 47's sophomore effort 'Going Out For A Quiet One And Coming Home With No Pants And A New Cat'. Mikki said, "I want to see who does better. It'll be - interesting." (Subtext. She wants to sell more copies than Roxy so that she wins over her, and Roxy is feeling the exact same way.)
Joshy Firecracker, Modi Blunt, Katie Kairiri and (grudgingly) James Kairiri are said to have wished Mikki good luck. Roxy Firecracker has not commented. This is probably a good thing.
