Hello Chloe, thanks for joining us! Its most certainly an honor to have you here.
Chloe: And its an honor to be here!


First, lets start off with your upcoming re- release of Different Elements Of Chloe, your already successful debut album. How did that come about?
Chloe: It all came about a few months ago, my label and I were trying to figure out if we wanted to release another single off the album.. but I thought "hey, I want my fans to get new music, and new music soon". I knew I couldn't release a entirely new album in a few months and I knew that Different Elements Of Chloe was still a freshly baked album since it came out in January, so we figured we should record some new songs and re-release the album. Its the best of both worlds really.. you get the greatness of the original album, plus additional tracks. Its gets no better than that!

What inspired you to start recording the original album?
Chloe: The drive to send a message not only to my fans but to other artists as well. Alot of people are afraid to really venture out into different genre's of music. And with my debut album I showed that it was possible. That although it may be terribly hard for other artists to have a slew of different types of music into one album because it may make no type of sense because they may not be comfortable with all the genre's. I showed that you can actually do it. I had these different elements like R&B, Rap, Dance, Pop, Hip Hop and others put into one album and it made so much sense and sounded so good together that I felt so proud that I actually did it. I was inspired to send a message and when you actually accomplish it, its a whole different feeling, it feels better than amazing.

For the re-release, what can we expect? Will it be much like the regular album?
It will actually... I didnt want to go far off of the original Different Elements formula since it is the same album, its very confident and each of the new tracks are all aparently "smashes" according to my label. Hehehe...

Do you have an exact date?
Chloe: I do actually but that will be announced at a different time.. Don't want to give away all the goodies but a June re-release sounds very cute..


Are there any collaborations for the re-release as well?
Chloe: Maybe. There are a lot of artists I really want to work with and alot show interest in me, so you never know..

Your newest song, Losing My Religion, was actually released today! How do you feel about the song?
Chloe: I'm so excited about the song... I love it. Its probably one of my favorite songs that I've ever recorded. Its so deep, so different...


What is the song about?
I'm actually telling a story in the song. It talks about a girl who loses her virginity to a guy and automatically she becomes in love with him, but hes no good for her. It explains how young girls go out, get chained in a relationship with men who are no good for them and it only goes down hill from that. I see it so much and it breaks my heart, I had to write a song about it.


You actually got a wide range of positive reviews for the lyrics, the awakening nature of the song, and the industrial/ dark pop sound you ventured out to. How does it feel to have great reviews, especially for a new song?
Chloe: Its always good to get good reviews. It makes me feel appreciated as an artist. So of course its a great feeling..


Other say that the song is a bit too edgy and expressive. What do you have to say to those people?
Chloe: Heheh. Your always going to have your doubters and what do I have to say to them? Nothing. Because I know the song is doing good deeds for other people alike. You simply cannot impress everyone and your always going to have those people who shoot you down. But what can ya do..

In your own opinion, what do you feel makes you different from alot of artists today?
Chloe: The fact that I'm comfortable in many different genre's of music. I know a few who can do it as well but alot cant. I could rap and sing on a dance track.. I can belt away on a Alternative song. I love all types of music, its great to be able to perform them too!



What artists do you have on your ipod? Who are you loving right now?
Oh I love Alicia Lena, total inspiration. Love Stephanie Fierce, but who doesn't hehe. Miss Vanity, James Urie, Jason Smith, Eric Quillington,Ryan Ross Hernandez, Hannah Beth, Tisha, Electrodeath- Ilove them, Katie Coyle and alot more.


You have been getting rave reviews from many people about not only your new single but the new red hair as well! How did it come about?
Chloe: I know! I was so shocked by it! I didn't like it at first...I wanted to try something new and bad ass and a few people and my hairstylist were like "you should die it red" as a joke. And im like we should! So we did. I hated it at first but after a while I loved it.. and other people do too so thats always great..


Your fashion sense has also made you a fashionable prospect as well. Your red hair matching your red boots at your performance at club G-A-Y was complimented by Electrodeath, what inspires your fashion and how does it feel to be known as a "highly fashionable artist?"
Chloe: Its great! I dont have have stylists picking out my clothes and stuff.. its mostly all me. I pick out the initial type of clothing I want to wear. Its different. And shout out to Electrodeath for the compliment. I love you girls!

Speaking of club G-A-Y you put on an electrifying performance the other day promoting your new single. How did you feel when you were performing?
Chloe: Its always best when you perform a song for the first time. I was completely shot wit adrenaline and all I could do was sing my ass of and dance. You gotta put up a show at club G-A-Y because not only is a it a pretty prestigious club but it also has a very tell all crowd. If they don't like you, you'll know it..

A few months ago you won best artist at the International Music Awards, that is a great milestone for a 21 year old artist. How did you feel when you won?
Chloe: A feeling that I cant explain. I felt like all the hard work paid off. I wasn't an overnight sensation like alot of other girls. I had to work my way to the top.. so when I got best new artist opposed to the other ones nominated with me.. not only was I shocked and happy but I felt like I was dreaming. I was so freaking happy and I felt so accomplished.

And lastly, what can we expect from you in the next few months?
Chloe: Of course Different Elements Of Chloe: Deluxed, I'll be opening for Alicia Lena in the European Leg of her huge tour, which is HUGE for me.. and then I'll be in the talks to do my own tour thing, so who knows ? We'll have to see...
